so im sure everyone has tried it..
someone does an all in or something else retared and you beat him.. then the player starts to rage on you even after the game is over... why wont they just gg and accept there tac failed? anyway here is the one who raged on me... its only gold league so it isnt defended very well but it got the job done :-P http://drop.sc/307247 Edit: the fun thing about it is looking at his match history most of his matches are 6 pool or other cheese/ all-in |

I know what you mean! I had a guy rage at me beating him with a proxy marauder (the best part was he said he was going to 4 gate me) The man raged HARD and threatened me and clearly reported me and now MY account is banned despite him being the aggressor. He couldn't just GG and let me play more :l the rage is funny at first and you think how sad these people are and then you find yourself punished for them BM'ing the christ out of you (and threatening you in real life saying they know where you live through a reverse DNS and know your IP and are coming to kill you so you should look out as tomorrow will be the last day of your life) and then you realise these players are just bad and not what the sc2 community should support.

Sometimes it is frustrating to lose a match, but that doesn't justify rage.
I'd say not to worry about it, because you'll see that a lot... in any game where rankings and competitiveness is important for success. But if another player says something that genuinely offends you, just report him. |
i just find it funny that ppl rage over a game.. I rage when they should have lost for playing badly but a simple mistake, mismicro, or it being HotS made them win. Aside from that I'm very much a nice guy and I always listen to advice that I've not heard or tried before as well as give it to those who ask. |
ofcorse im sure we all get a little angry when we lose.. noone likes to lose :-P but do you rage if youre cheese/ 1 base all-in fails like the dude in replay? |

Very true unfortunately. As I mentioned in a previous thread on a similar topic, there will always be people with attitude problems and it is therefore important to not let these people get to you. In my opinion it is best to simply ignore these people, and also report them when they go too far. The F11 key is your friend: http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/5208452341#9 |

A question about this then: Do I need to include a replay in my report or not? The reason I'm asking is this post by Aldrexus: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=340614¤tpage=242#4831 I don't think it's obvious to anyone that you don't have access to the replays. Do you have access to the in-game chats, or do we need to provide links to replays for these too? |

In what world would that make it okay? True, it's not the harshest of insults, but an insult non the less. Seeing yourself above the code of conduct just because you're good at something, is just as wrong as the guy who just insults for no apparent reason. End of Transmission |

Although replays can be very handy for getting a clear overview of an incident, you are not required to include a replay in your report for incidents that happened in the chat. The report feature gives us a record of the chat amongst other things, so please use the report feature if you want to bring a chat incident to our attention :-) |

Incoming TransmissionBut then again. Im master. Actully I just meant that my "rage" is more deveolped. And not some pansy excuse of an insult. Just like my leauge is more devolped. Those things go hand in hand. Dont be shocked of what people may through at you in text messages, because I for once can always top that. And that just shows how little these things mean. Swearing is fun, dont let your mothers voice of the past haunt your feelins when you lose. Let it all out and be proud of the gift that is your micro of your keyboard or your clear booming voice in the night that clearly wants to be heard for just that moment in eternity! <snip> [edit] I'm not gonna tell you to mind your language a third time! |

I highly disagree, on both acounts. Just because you're in a higher league doesn't mean you "nursed" your rage more. That all depends on who you are as a person, and then league has nothing to do with it. Hell I were number 83 in europe solo queue ranked in league of legends, and I still didn't rage when people were making me lose. It's what you do and how you act, I hate when I see some *insert insulting word* calling people names in the chat or is demeaning. So why would I do it myself, when I hate to see it? I see it daily, I spend -a lot- of time on the internet. And aproximatly every 15 minutes or so, I'm being flamed. It's not that I need to answer them, or feel insulted, but I still don't think it's okay. And I know most people don't spend as much time infront of a computer as I do, so they might not be as noncharlant towards insults. And I'm a danish farmer, my vocabulary in swearing is downright colorfull. End of Transmission |
Really? If that were right, all pro players would be angry psychopaths... Learning to control yourself is a nice part of this game, I think. Being better at the game does not give you the right to be bm. |
IdrA is clearly the best player out there, then. =P |

hypocrite, as if u never rage. Maybe u don't say it to the other player, but u do rage to urself at least. Not always ofc, and certainly the chances for you to rage are lower if you play only very occasionally. But if u do have days when u play a lot, and u lose u will rage. Better to let it out than keep it to yourself.
// Also gloating on the forum about how u win against someone that tried to cheese(failed) and then left insulting you is not necessary and mainstream. |
