I think you can't. The box should also say "internet connection needed" on the front side in the right corner. You even need the internet connection to play singleplayer!

Ah yea, i guess it says that the client needs to be authorised by Bnet because it has to be authorised every single time i run it, so yes, i can play offline but only after i log in, even if for a brief moment. Well, that doesn't bother me too much, and thanks for the reply : )

Ok, this issue needs to be made clear.
So when the game itself gives me a button "play offline", I still cant really play offline? I mean, I logged in then played multiplayer, campaign and then exited starcraft. When I come later, when I am not on the internet, it "gives me the option" to play offline. But when I say "Ok, play offline." It say I need to activate the offline mode or something on battlenet. So tell me, where do I activate that offline thing, that the game itself claims that it has. |

All the best to the Blizzard team,
but NOT to be able to play the single-player game without an Internet Connection is by far the worst thing I've EVER encountered. I know it has have something to do with piracy-issues, but hey... do we ALL have to suffer for it? That really sucks! :( Fix this! |

Can someone be a little for explicative on the issue here? I mean, after registering the game on my account with the cd key, after installing and entering the main menu screen, loging in and such (but not playing since i was at work :P), I came home (hotel with crappy connection that wont connect to Bnet in-game whatever) and can't access offline mode...What did I do wrong?

Yeah by my side nothing, maybe you (blizzard) have to work on a patch, cause its not working! Cant play off-line, and btw when i play (online) i had crash! 6 years of develop... (im a developer) for what??? For this? |

hold on this is rubbish Customer service a rep replies with a one line answer 1 state how to activate each one the client and key 2 be more precise in what you say "If both Key and software have been activated, then there should be nothing else to do on your end" is really not a good answer what do you mean u guys got something wrong your end ? we got to wait say 24hrs before the account registers what really i am appauled by the reps posts here.
i agree what was said above 6 years of developing something like this ? |
