General Strategy
- Armored transport craft that can ferry units across the battlefield.
- Can shift to Phasing Mode to project an energy field like the Pylon, which provides power to Protoss structures. The energy field also allows for the warping in of units and construction of structures.
- Can pick up and drop off units in both Transport and Phasing Mode.
- Raid enemy bases efficiently by unloading troops in, switching to Phasing Mode and warping in reinforcements via your Warp Gates.
Upgrades
- Gravitic Drive: Passive bonus to the Warp Prism’s movement speed.
Countermeasures
VS Terran
- Build Missile Turrets around your mineral line to discourage drops.
- Build a few Vikings to intercept Warp Prisms.
- Use Marines, preferably with Stimpacks, to bring them down quickly.
VS Zerg
- Build Spore Crawlers around your mineral line to discourage drops. Be sure to attack the enemy ships with your Queen as well.
- Spawn Mutalisks,; their flight speed will ensure the enemy will have a hard time getting away.
- Use Hydralisks and research the Grooved Spines upgrade.
VS Protoss
- Build Photon Cannons around your mineral line to discourage drops.
- Use Stalkers and research Blink to more effectively give chase to invading Warp Prisms.
- Deploy a few Phoenix fighters to eliminate the enemy transports.

But like @Knalraap I don't understand what the portrait is. Looks like something totally different.
Wtf is it?
They're really good to keep your units replenished in the heat of the battle.
Can be psychologically daunting to new players when they see a couple Warp Prisms, then, a few seconds later, an entire Protoss army is dropped and warped in. =D
Also, a funny thing, place a couple, filled with units inside an enemy's sensory array. Then, when they come to investigate, surprise! Drop and warp!
!*!* yeah :]
