Run a Selective Startup
In case a background application is interfering with your installation, try running a Selective Startup.
Check your Hard Drive
Give your hard drive a full scan for errors, this may take some time and require you to restart Windows.
Boot into Safe Mode
Try installing the game when in Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode, simply attempt to install the game normally. You will not be able to play the game in Safe Mode, to exit Safe Mode, restart Windows and allow your computer to boot normally.
Check your Memory
If your memory is not configured correctly or damaged, your installation may fail, have a read through our How do I check my Memory (RAM)? guide.
