At times, our technical support department needs to see some diagnostics information about your computer in order to help you solve a problem.

To create an Apple System Profiler report, please follow these steps:

1. Click the Apple logo in the top-left hand corner of your monitor

2. Click About this Mac

3. Click the More Info button
   
   The window you see will look something like this:
   
   

4. Click File then Save As...
   
   
   
   

5. Name the file Macintosh and make sure it's saved as a Plain Text file
   
   
   
   

This will create a text file on your desktop (called Macintosh) that you can send to us.
