Battle.net Mobile Authenticator for Windows® Phone 7 Devices

Battle.net Mobile Authenticator for Windows® Phone 7 Devices

The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator, an application for mobile phones that provides an extra layer of account security, is now available as a free download for Windows® Phone 7 devices on the Windows Phone Marketplace. The Battle.net Mobile Authenticator provides a one-time password that you use in addition to your regular account name and password when you log in to a Battle.net account to play World of Warcraft or StarCraft II.

Versions for other mobile devices are also available for download here, or you can purchase a physical Battle.net Authenticator from the online Blizzard Store. Visit the Battle.net Mobile Authenticator FAQ for more information, or head to the setup page to get started after you've downloaded the application.

For additional account security advice, check out our Account Security page.

Now that the marketplace has been opened up for many more countries, at least in Europe, could you please republish with WorldWide distribution, or at least add the countries in Europe that you serve?

(Apps that have WorldWide Distribution checked need to be updated on AppHub to be available in all markets)

Why isn't there a Linux based mobile app? i'm running on Meamo 5 (Debian based) and i can't use a mobile app. Surely it shouldn't be that hard to make right?

Why not make it a 'flash' app? Every phone nowadays supports java execpt Iphone 4, but who's crazy enough to buy an Apple!! :P

Please don't be stupid.
Check your phone's OS and then check whether there is a download for it.
HTC uses Android so yes you can get it on your HTC phone.

Nice to see Blizzard is branching out their mobile plattform :)
Having been recently hacked, I was able to cut off the hacker thanks to the help from Blizzard and the Android Authenticator, so I can assure the WP7 users that this is one of those "must haves" (unless you already had a physical one ofc)
