New Features for the World of Warcraft Mobile Armory for iPhone

The iPhone World of Warcraft Mobile Armory has just been updated! Check out all the improvements we’ve included in the latest version:

Automatic price undercutting: Set the default buyout price of your auctions to match or undercut the current lowest buyout price for an item
Aggregated buyout search results: Multiple auctions posted at the same buyout price can now be viewed as a single group
Support for the following Guild features: Level, Perks, Rewards, Achievements, News, Events, and MotD
Links to items and achievements received in Remote Guild Chat now link to those sections in the app
Links to enchants, quests, abilities, talents, and professions received in Remote Guild Chat now display tool-tips
Improved search technology
Search now suggests terms based on previous searches
Updated calendar events presentation
A character’s talents & glyphs now display on the same page
Leaderboard has been removed
Realm firsts will no longer appear in the activity feed
Bookmarks are now saved locally; all old bookmarks will be lost
Various bug fixes

Dear Blizzard, you could also make this kind of applications available for other phones. Because we all are playing the game and would like to use applications that are linked with game, instead of need to buy a Apple product to use.

Guildchat is still supporting only one device orientation. I would trade a larger keyboard for less chat on the screen. Currently typing is a pain.

well i believe that this update is good......... And why are people bad mouthing about android being better than iphone or vice versa!!! people buy the phone that is value for money that has good signal, great graphics and really fast for texting/internet/gaming/calling......and etc. etc. etc!!! (i myself have an iphone 2 8g ) the thing is blizzard is doing their level best in presenting everyone with an updated armory, whether we have iphones or androids!!! (jeez, i used to work for O2 and got phone calls daily from customers asking advice on androids and iphones, so i should know a thing or two......) anyway, keep it up blizzard!

@Revirea: No it's just that Apple is just faster and better at developing apps than Windows, Droids, and Blackberry, when phone developers make a phone all the "Home Pages" varies across the mobile world for example The Motorola Droid's Home Page is different from Samsung's Galaxy Prevail. This in turn makes development for Blizzard and other app makers a bit harder to try and find a stable reference point to work off of, Apple only has two from a technical standpoint. First the (iPod/iPhone) then to the iPad which is almost identical to the architecture of the iPod/iPhone. So in turn development is faster for Apple products, due to it's iOS, not because there's more Apple Phones.

@Grrym: first of all i prefer giving 300 euros for a good android device than giving 800 for an iphone just to see the apple logo in it and i know that most people will agree with me..secondly i don't think that the topic has anything to do with which phone software is better..

@Grrym: So... You are comparing the OS and saying that ALL Androids are made by one company... As Deepfreezer said, take off your blinders.

Androids come out every other month, because they are manufactured by MULTIPLE companies, and each of these companies are making different versions of their phones.
Take Samsung for instance. They have currently a dozen or so Galaxies out there, Galaxy, Galaxy S, SII, 5, 3, mini and others, BUT you can in no way compare a Samsung Galaxy 5 to a Galaxy SII, The S-series is the iPhone compatible one, while the others are downscaled in both price and hardware.

But you keep living in your world iFan, and I'll live in the real world.

Its not as simple as just moving the app to android. They probably need to completely rebuild the app from the ground up to work on those devices. Also because any manufacturer can put the android os on their phones not all the phones are capable of running the app correctly. Many lower spec android devices have slower processors and memory chips than the top end devices. Also I'm amazed at how violently opposed some people are to iPhone users! It's only a phone for pity's sake. And to call someone a sheep because they buy any product is simply ridiculous. We are all effectively sheep because we've been effected by the marketing of whatever product we 'choose' to buy. You could easily argue that android users are simply being different for the sake of it. And before I get more apple hate slung my way, I work in mobile phones. I use both an iOS and android device...... and blackberry still rocks :D

@Teldor: Thank you for that I think people are so blinded by the technological wonder that is mobile OS they forget that it's the same with Computers too. You have Windows, Apple's OS, and occasionally Linux for gaming, which btw I use the word "Gaming" lightly for this example, different hardware, and software is always involved, even in the world of Apple, the only difference is that Apple has eliminated loads of hardware and has a small pool they choose from.

Um, I don't know if anyone has actually bothered to look, but it's available for the androids. Check the market.
I've been running it since it was released a couple of months ago.
As for wp7, just google for it. You'll find it.

Thank you Blizzard for updating the application :)

For all the Android users out there shouting abuse at Blizzard for not putting this on your chosen platform is silly. Patience is the key here.

Blackberry itself is losing a lot of it's users to the IOS platform and Android so why spend time on a new App when the phone is getting less used every day

WP7 - never used it and most likely will not

World of Warcraft®
