Leaders Of The Alliance And Horde -- Varian Wrynn

Landan Wrynn. Adamant Wrynn. Llane Wrynn. Varian Wrynn. The line of Wrynn kings has led the nation of Stormwind through countless troubles, each time emerging from the ashes stronger and wiser for the hardship. But Varian, as Stormwind's king in an era of unprecedented chaos and disaster, has begun to focus on the other legacy of his predecessors: Wrynn kings have always met their end too soon, and it's never been fair or kind.
Stepping out into the hall, Varian noticed his guards were not at their usual stations. Is everyone preoccupied with Remembrance Day? Or is this something more sinister?
He crept carefully down the dim hall, entering the large and familiar throne room of Stormwind Keep, but now its towering walls seemed different—larger, more shadowed, and empty. From the distant stone ceiling, tarps hung like garish cobwebs, emblazoned with the golden face of a lion—the emblem denoting the pride and strength of the great nation of Stormwind.
In the gloom, Varian heard a muffled cry and then a sudden scuffle. His eyes darted to the floor, where a trail of blood clearly led to the center of the room. There in the murk, he could barely make out a frantic struggle between two figures. As his eyes adjusted, he could see one man on his knees, bloody and wounded, and standing over him was a harsh female shape looming in the blackness.
Blizzard Entertainment is proud to present the latest entry in the Leaders of Azeroth short story series: "The Blood of Our Fathers"!

Also Horde gonna hate :D Serieusly though, I never understood their faction pride. Their part of a faction that pretty much does one horrible thing after another to the other one (aka Alliance) and then all of a sudden get holier then thou about some Tauren camp? How about Hillsbrad, southshore, Ashenvale etc? It's like having germans that invade France, and then start calling the Americans "evil" when they strike back and destroy a town on the way to Berlin.
Oh well /shrug It's just a game :) Even if I find that kind of behavior weird ^^;

And by reading your comment I can tell you got your lore facts messed up (which for some reason a lot of Horde tend to do :/)
And that was admiral Proudmoore. He had recently experienced the Horde's bloodlust, and wouldn't believe that they were free of the demonic corruption. ironically, he turned out to be right in the end. If Jaine hadn't helped Thrall, then Garrosh wouldn't be slaughtering the Alliance, every man, women and child.
And no, humans did NOT hunt the Night elves. The Horde invaded their ancestrall lands :/ Again, who told you that? The whole excile of the Blood elves was because they were banished by the other Night elves, long before there were even human kingdoms.
And the humans never abandoned everyone in Gilneas. They erected a wall to keep the Scourge out. The Forsaken now hate the Gilneans for sealing their kingdom off, but they had no choice otherwise they would have gotten slaughtered themselves.
And funny, Arthas was controled by the Lich king, who used to be an Orc shaman known as Ner'Zhul. So to be more precise, it was the HORDE that created most villains, not the Alliance.
Again, check your lore :)

*Wait for a reply of an alliance player*
*Rofl your !@# off for people taking it to serious*
(NOTE: Alliance players can do the same with horde players, I am not responsible for any dissapointed haters. I totally understand that people like to yell for the horde or for the alliance but find hating each other for it a bit weird.)
I am a cow, /moo and end of story.

I loved too read them and found them quite moving. Compliments.
It seems the problems of Azeroth and our real life course are pretty much look a like. Good message for the hart to ponder upon. ;)

Tbh I don't think he is nearly as bad as all the Horde members commenting "Thrall rocks lol Varian sucks Horde ftw" here on this ALLIANCE story thread. It's nice they have faction pride and all, but they only sound immature every time they pull stunts like these. And they have pulled a lot of them...

The Horde are the ones saving Azeroth?...
Dude... Your faction is attacking Alliance lands by the dozens and completely laying waste to the lands. If you really want to save the world, then stop attacking the Alliance (while preaching at the same time about being "misunderstood") so that we can focus on Death wing...

Last time I checked Thrall isn't part of the Horde anymore :D
Also it was the Earthen ring, which is made up of both Horde AND Alliance shamans. At least the Alliance ones don't have a faction that tries to invade the other one while hell opens all around us. Don't think Thrall did all the work for everyone, us Draenei shamans did more then that one Orc did :)
And they suck for hating Sylvanas at the Wrathgate and Cataclysm? Sorry, but ever since cataclysm I personally just can't identify with the Horde anymore. The whole "misunderstood savages" thing was already very shakey in vanillia, but in cataclysm they did cross the line. Oh well, I guess that after Illidan, Arthas and Death wing the Horde will be next when it comes to villains which need to be put down :)

*Looks at all the comments below us where Horde fanboys/girls obsessively bash and belittle the Alliance and the faction leader Varian Wrynn. Also notices how they are screaming "For the Horde" on a story of the opposite faction. Also notices how no Alliance members have posted "Glory tot he Alliance" on stories like those of Sylvanas*
*Now looks at Seph her comment which makes sence since this is an ALLIANCE story*
*Now looks at your comment which strangely was NOT posted on a comment of your faction members, despite them not only making similar claims, but also do it in a bashing manner and on a thread that is NOT a Horde tread*
Me: Your kidding right?

Your a Blood elf, your kind always makes me laugh :)

a Alliance Leader of the horde Its sucks
why do the the Alliance get All the power and Horde can just sit down and do nothing!! :(
Earthen Ring
And wake up, kid, Alliance doesn't have ''ALL the power'' by a long shot.
Ashenvale is being pushed by the orcs, Blizz makes Night Elves sit down and do !@#$ there. The Forsaken took over Gilneas, Hillsbrad, Andorhal and are busy in Arathi, Alterac, WPL and along with the Trolls in Hinterlands. There are a hundred examples that only show to Horde's dominance in Azeroth. Not quite the Alliance's. You are nagging over stuff you know nothing about. Tsk.

Twilight's Hammer
Also for the haters, Thrall couldn't stop the the fel orcs from attacking the humans. He was kept captive by the alliance in a keep used as an arena experiment.
My belief is that every leader has a different story, different people relate to different stories.. "OMFG Thrall rulezzz" that's childish.. following the trends just so people think you even know why thrall rules... not good... If a person can actually justify why Thrall "rullezzz" then i do believe them :P

Wrynn was in the southern part of Azeroth. Where was Quel'thalas when the Scourge attacked Lordeoran? Simple, they no longer wanted to be part of the Alliance because then they would have had to pay to keep the Orcs alive. They rather killed them off. If Qual'thalas had quickly come to the aid of Lordeoran, then the Scourge might have been stopped, and Qual'thalas would still flourish.
As for Thrall, those Orcs that attacked Azeroth did so when he was still an infant. They may have drank the demon blood, but it only enhanced their bloodlust, the choices to murder children were their own.
Later the Alliance had the choice to either kill them all off, or spare them. They chose the latter, at the expanse of the Alliance crumbling as a result of that. Thrall wasn't used as a experiment, he was used by a corrupt !@#$%^- named Blackmoore, and had Uther found out, he would have executed him on the spot.
Not to mention that his hatred against Sylvanas is also justified, with her becoming the second lich kind and all ^^;
Oh well, that's me being a lore-junkie ;p

Your... kidding me right? XD
Serieusly, lately the Alliance seems to win a lot more in the battlegrounds, more so then when I play on my Horde toons. And sadly I have noticed that the maturity of the Horde playerbase as well as it's skill has dropped sharply, which I may add has nothing to do with age, since you can have bad adults and really good "kids".
Earthen Ring
''I have noticed that the maturity of Horde playerbase dropped sharply'' .....
''May I add has nothing to do with Age''..
Maturity. Age. Hm.
Good Job.
