CoverItLive Q&A: Class Design & Balance — (11/9)

To follow up on our first World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria developer Q&A on the CoverItLive platform, we’re gathering the entire class design team to field your questions on the past, present, and future of World of Warcraft classes. Anyone is welcome to join in the live Q&A this Wednesday, November 9, beginning at approximately 19:45 and concluding around 21:00 CET.

You can read along via the CoverItLive client embedded below while the Q&A is live. To participate, you just use your Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, or OpenID credentials, or simply sign in as a guest. U should really learn how to balance the game blizzard.
Recently i only go against healers mainly palas and druids and a few shammys
Mana burn doesnt affect them. Druids cant be cced at all. Worst part is that palas can heal with no mana
Mana burn is completly useless at the moment. THe game is not balanced at all and if it keeps up
im gonna quit this !@#$ forever

didn't u notice you all said any class should be more powerfull? In my opinion healing need to be nerfed just a little, only to get dps-Healer VS dps-Healer more challenge. Then i would specialize every class into its personal role: for example an arms warrior shouldn't heal himself, he should do just a lot of damage, a hunter shouldn't cast immunizations spell. Those are just some cues... Basically i suggest a return to the origins of Wow, but this wouldn't put the old way of playing wow back. This is a puppet of the old Wow.

Try playing a shadow priest and you'll be soon agreeing. Maybe it's not about nerfing rather than empowering. Let a shadow priest wear plate and carry a shield... I'd have you for breakfast then. ;-)

srsly, Almost all the classes that have typed here including dks are undergeared or not skilled if they cant kickass with theyr class, Dks do ALOT dmg and make up for it with less defensive spells and taking more dmg.... if u want do survive go tank....

i agree to you litchhunter.... but dont make feraldruids rogues or warriors or blood dks or mages more powerfull....make prests more op and enchantement shamans need to be more op,like a stamina and dodge rating buff.....

please make fury warriors take less damage .... i faced a fury warrior that did less damage but more defence....him tok away 200k damage from 300k damage and used the 200k to defence and owned evrybody....so plz! arms warriors is op to but i can take them...

Please buff ele shamans...Oh a rogue he's behind me.. stunning me silencing me, blinding me... when i turn around, because i can only cast something when i facing the target, oh he is behind me again ..wtf.. it s just pathetic.. yeah yeah, cast my lightning bolt while im running, makes a big big difference when the thing is behind me

@Chévez: i must agree with you.... paladins just bubble... how about give them more damage and remove the bubbles and all the healing abilities. Let the healers heal, dps dont need healing spells

@Chévez: Hell yea! Wtf is blizz thinking they nerf hammer of wraths crit chance with 90% for rets Seriously? Ret can't even solo healers atm we need much more overall damage or a heal reduce or something ffs I can't kill any fukin healers now god dammit blizz!

Guys, what you need to really nerf is druids as dps-ers. In cat form no caster stands a damn chance 1v1 against them. It's just non-stop stunning, self-healing, dmg reduce, insane dps & they kill cloth for mere seconds.

I'd rather want them to buff shamans, :L i make high hps yes i beat pallies yep i beat druids yep but disc . . . nu uh i have to work for my hps . . . 1 priest AoE=14k hps instant . . . Would appreaciate that i could get some absorb on people too or any AoE Absorb :LL

@Tharoc I both agree and disagree. We are a very weak dps in elemental without the 2t12 pieces for the RnG of fire elemental. Enhancement is okay at the moment. But again it requires a higer level gear to maintain the same dps as someone with a lower gear score eg a afflic lock. But ilvl 372 and 12k dps.... I can get 16k in resto gear in elemental spec. I think you are seriously mucking up to do that badly.

I'd rather not complain, but could someone please increase the shaman damage per second, our dps is the lowest rathed in-game at the moment.....
I'd prefer to able to actuly do some dps without being addicted to my Feral Wolfs and Heroism.... I mean even with an item lvl at 372, we are still having trouble to get our dps up to 12k. no mather as elemental or enhancement. Blizzard please do something!

@Tharoc: Have to say that it's a matter of your rotation. I have IL 365 or something and i usually make 14-18k dps single target. So you just have to work on your rotation. The dps for Enh shammies atm, is fine. Though i wouldn't mind getting buffed by the upcoming patches ^^

i am so sure that people say nerf mages they are so OP etc etc are the wow destroyers.. they roll a shiny paladin most of the time and they think that they are the most boosted class can kill everything.all classes got some skills that cancel the others.so please kid complaining about op classes go play packman.mage has also some cds beat him when they are down.also if u complain about enormous dps this is his role.some other classes need be nerfed!!

You could always give everyone similar gear in pvp just so it's fair.. Everyone wears that gear and can only vs people in that gear; from low tier gear to high. that would make it easier to balance for PvP.. Tbh, pvp is ruining pve by giving everyone similar abilities, considering wow wasn't even going to have pvp in the first place.
