is just a paypal thing made in Blizzard.

let us charge it up with game currency please :D, would be nice to be able to pay the montly fee of wow with gold (lots of them) like in EvE online

There is alot of people that does not understand or cannot read the post.

This is no way suggesting that they are going to sell gold in wow or even free to play.

From the post there are 2 possible examples.

1: Only a wow player, its payday, and you think oh theres going to be a new pet next week and i don't think ill have the money then so i will put it in my battle.net balance now and when it comes out ill buy it. Or another example. My guild is transfering servers next month and i don't think ill have the money to pay for it, so put the money in the balance now and so when the guild does transfer i have the money waiting.

2. Wow and Diablo player. I found awesome items in Diablo and i am going to sell on the auction house for real money! The item sold and now its in my battle.net balance. I now have enough money in my balance for a moonkin pet for wow that i always wanted! or i just paid for a months subscription for wow.

If I were Blizzard I would be extremely scared by the amount of schizophrenia patients running amok on my servers. It's like being a Bizarre website, not a Blizzard one.

Every damn service Blizzard tries to provide must be some evil scheme to "destroy the games and take over the world".

Go and get some treatment, you crazy flakes... it's ALL in your head.

question, will d3 auction house destroy the game ? i mean people who spend money in it will become the strongest i suppose not that am fully agaist the idea but am still afraid of it.

for all the whiners here. It's an additional service, which works like a prepaid telephone. But a credit deposit on the account to use for paying things like vanity pets, game time, product keys like you do now with your credit card. Money can be put on through the usual methods AND from the d3 auction house sales.
If you don't want your d3 sales to go into the account you can also cash them out through services like paypal

It says "services like World of Warcraft character transfers, digital products like pets and mounts, and more. " so don't think they mean gold, gues it's more like the blizzard store with the mounts and pets ect.

if this is what i think it is. People buying gold. Getting raid gear becourse the buy gold. Thing like that. Then its over. Then im finishd whit this game.

Absolutely redicoulous. -You'll never earn any money from this (technically you're just making money for blizzard). - I mean how much does it cost for blizzard to make you a digital key for one of their games?

So basically I can only benefit from cash made by D3 sales if I buy stuff from blizzards store or am in whatever, currently unspecified, region actually allows transfers into paypal.

Underwhelming and fairly uninteresting, only ever bought an authenticator from the store due to the overly restrictive payment options.

Why don't you guyz leave us alone? You're making this game worse everyday. You should stop goldfarmers and stop their gold trade for real money but the solution you find for that is this? Yes Blizzard really needs more money.

Sadly this is only a" one way" money machine - for Blizz. AFAIK you can't trade e.g WOW Gold to Battle net Credits vis a vis. (woulf be cool to transfer gold from your Wow ACC to D3) But as far as I understand this, it's only "real money cash in2 for people that don't wanna buy gold from goldfarmers...instead they buy it from Blizz. Hurray for Capitalism and the shareholder Value.

so, if i'm reading the FAQ right, i'm going to sell items in diablo 3 for real money, all of which is put on the blizzard balance... and unless i live in certain regions, i won't be able to take it back out? meaning i'm selling items on diablo3... for you guys? instead of 5% cut or something, you just take all of it? :S

So we can sell D3 currency for real money :o
if I'm reading this correctly, we can sell in-game items for real life money
on the auction house of D3. (not only currency but actuall real life money, read in FAQ).

So i have just one question...
When are we going to be able to buy Gold in WoW?
Or use the currency to buy stuff in WoW?

Since you're interested in balances, how about bringing some balance into prices between US and Europe? In case you didn't know, 10 euros is a little bit more than 5 dollars...
