looking at most of the replys i think its strange that people are wining about the game becomeing too childish in the NEW expansion? the fact is WOW is a 12 rated game which is monitord like its a PG or U at best XD, i new this when they removed nearly all the dreanai flirts/sillys (not that i care but they were funny).
mist of pandara in its self isnt childish just becase people can see some idea of kun-fu panda in the next patch... in all respects the drunken monk pandas was in warcraft 3 (i dont care if i got the wrong1)
moving on.. personly i wish i didnt have to p2p as i know if my mates wasnt all on wow id have changed to another mmorpg ages ago which is a sad thing to think about but true, in my mind its been comiing close to me leaving after the cata nerf as i havent done all the content and dont want to be doing all the content at a lower skill cap (thus making a lot of raid guilds try and move faster) plus i cant under stand why it wud need nerfing at heroic level as players who cant do heroic can still do normal cata raids, its called heroic as its ment to be HARD, or if blizz cud at least delay it some more so move people can get there b4 the nerf

The upcoming expansion is too childish for my taste. bought the annual subscription for diablo 3 and i have to sell almost a year of wow playtime to a close relative who wont go hacking my account. SWOTR has almost everything wow has and its a fresh game and brings up a whole new content. Plus its STAR WARS for gods sake!

Mooid holds some very good points. but i truely think Blizz should give people at least a free month for like every 6 months of playing or something so u feel like ur gettring a bit more for ur money. Also alot of players need a reason to carry on playing a game some times game play just isnt enough and alot of people think that they are just getting easyer i think the loom gear was a bad idea its totaly mucked up the pvp Bgs now its easy to twink whilest befor it was harder u actually had to work for ur gear now u just run a few dungeons collect some JC Points and buy the loom gear. Also its sucked the fun out of leveling its just to easy now u just run like 2 dungeons and u ding like twice each run its kinda silly i miss what it was like in BC when leveling was a challenge and was fun to do and going into a pvp battel and wanting to twink ur self to shiz so u stood a chance or just having normal gear and not being hit once and die straight away. I do think they are going down hill this is just my opinyon so dont take it to heart but im sure there are alot of people out there who would agree with me.

I Have no prob paying a monthly fee but the one wow charges is way to high, The fee covers wages server costs etc i understand that but the average ticket takes 3 days to sort out. At these prices it should be sorted in less than 3 hours. i was an everquest player for ages and never had a petition run longer than a day ever and fees were lower.
I also run a number of wow accounts and find it very expensive (a discount for multipule accounts may be an idea here)

I agree with the consensus opinion which seems to be the monthly fee needs to be lowered. I have been paying it since launch and for a second account for almost as long (somewhere around 1500 euros, not including buying two of every expansion). I personally think the game has gotten too easy and that has turned some players off. It used to be an achievement to get to the highest level (60, 70, etc). Now it is just routine to have loads of 85s. It gets to the point of being ridiculous when you level out of a zone well before the quest line(s) run their course and if you want to play with someone there is nothing interesting because you can't try to go up against a harder zone because it won't give you the quests. An example would be that there are two of us leveling characters (we are lvl 72). We are in Dragonblight but would really like to try something challenging like Grizzly Hills or Zul'Drak or even Sholazar Basin (mobs 3 or 4 levels above us), yet we are stuck doing easy quests instead of something that takes a bit of effort. You should have the chance to try your skill against tougher mobs if you want. The race to 85 is just too easy at the moment.

IMO, I believe the only way to convince Blizzard to cut the monthly fee would be to boycott it by maybe unsubbing, or something. As it is, everyone complains about it yet nobody does anything to counteract it, in other words, Blizzard are still gaining money by keeping the subscription. If nobody dents Blizzards revenue, then they wont care about it, no matter how much complaining, because at the end of the day, they are still gaining money

@Hinnyoza: i dont know about 5Euros but ceahper then what they are charging for the game. there are alot of people that would much rarther wow be free but that wont happen but it is unfair how they expect u to fork out a fortune for the games alone then pay a monthly subscription iv been playing since BC and i can see for first time buyers or payers why they would be put off from playing its to much money to spend all at once even more so for people who have to pay rent bills ect. im just saying to new players its very Daunting.

I agree that the games them selves are to costly. And yea i also think they should lower the monthly cost we have to pay to play the game dont get me wrong i love the game but u think anout it u buy Vanillia, BC, WOTLK and Cata ur talking at least £70 for the lot plus an extra £8 - £40 for ur monthly subscriptions depending on if u get 1 month or 6. It dose work out £10 cheaper to pay for 6 months then it dose paying it monthly. But still i think to keep this game going for further years they need to drop the prices of all costs game packs and all. I'v found alot of people are going to GW2 cause they only have to pay 1 fixed fee for the game no subscription payment. I think Blizz kinda need to pull it together or they're just gonne keep losing more and more players. I also agree with Shoopdawhoop spet i think for ever 4-6 months that u play u get 1 month free give us players some other kind of reason to keep playing. These are just my opinyons every one to their own of corse.

Or still yet, you could all stop your whining & crying, bow down to your corprate masters, accept that you have no voice in the matter (& even if you did, they still wouldn't care) & get on with your lives. I took you just as much time to write your post, as it did for me to write mine, a waste of time on all our parts when we could have been doing something meaningful with our lives, like watching THE SIMPSONS. ;-/

Geloway ur totaly on the ball friend. LFG DID destroy WoW. Why? It was a social adventure. yes true you could choose to go it alone but where is the fun in that. The whole methos behind the game was to gather adventures together and get to know them while on route to a dungean, raid or badass elite. As if it would be in that type of situation. I hate instant dungs. Some ppl are nice but the majority say nothing 'not even hello' at start. And if they DO say something its something like 'Dont slack' or 'If ur dps is low i will kick you' or 'fast run pls'. I dont wana slow run but tanks steaming in and zergin everything they see and not stopping ruins the fun for dps

Next to all these advises, it would probably also be an idea to make as well mature as just child realms, so take many frustrations of childish comments away.
And what I see what happened on my realm, Saurfang, is that many people left, cause there became less and less people on our realm. A gigantic snowball effect!! Many people don't find it worth it to change realm than for that 'unfair price', became bored, and just quitt playing...while at the other hand you sometimes need to wait 5-10 minutes to be able to enter a realm like Outland. I don't understand why Blizz don't takes this serious also, cause for sure it costs them many players!
Why not give NEW players only the chance choose to play on the realms which are dying. Most of them, 99% I guess, dont even care, nor even know about the other realms at the start of their Wow adventure.
And why not already smelted some low-player realms which are clearfully die together?? From what I heard, not many players would care, cause than their realm would live again.

Nope, built it out with more and more (childish) areas, instead of taking care of that. This way the people gat spread in their realm even more and unfortunately sooner will wave goodbye with their hand...

Greetings, Romp (addicted player for about 5 years, but this way have good reasons to get clear...)

@Goregrinder: it's actually not true people shall not care about the realm they are on just because they are new. I recruited a friend to the game and I said to him he must actually go on my realm so he can play with me, and I have friends there from before and stuff and it's actually better to do like that

wow had over 11 million players... now they brought out some kind of childish expansion and a million people left the game, they could have expected this.
the only way to get more players is make monthly fee lower or remove it (removing it could bring about 15 million-20 million players to the game) and dungeon finder is in my opinion destroying world of warcraft... world of warcraft was used to be some kind of adventure, now it is reaching level 85, gear up and do raids, then you farm heirlooms and make a new char...

Well the cheapest iv'e seen it in my town is £15 uk pound. which is a bit more in euros. The thing is my town i live in isn't very big so there are only so many places you can shop around for offers. I do belive that in most towns (big towns usally) people can get cata for 5 or 10 euros. So if anyone ain't got it, go around and look for bargins up town.

Blizzard want new players? Time to clean up the outdated system then...

When MoP hits, offer a package that includes basic WoW AND all expansions! It's such nonsense that people have to pay for WoW, BC, WotLK and Cata separately (even with the Battle Chest that combines WoW and BC). Is there any new player that will start with WoW "vanilla" anymore, instead of just skipping ahead to the places in Cata where everybody is playing now?

How do I get friends interested, when I have tell them they have to shell out 70 euri (on 3 different products) to get the full game I'm playing, AND a relatively expensive suscription? Just make a MoP battle chest, so people are done with it. One game code, to rule them all...

Oh, and you can find Cata in various stores here for 10 euri...
