Noblegarden is Coming: April 1st - April 8

The great feast of Noblegarden has long been celebrated by the races of the Alliance and recently adopted by those of the Horde. During this joyous event, it is customary for the nobles and lords from each race to hide coins, candy, and the occasional treasures within special eggs painted to look like wildflowers. These eggs are then scattered around major cities for the citizenry to find.

From heroes to commoners and everyone in between, the feast of Noblegarden is meant to bring communities together to share the joy of life and friendship.

Noblegarden is back!

MORE ABOUT NOBLEGARDEN

Though its origins are steeped in druidic festivals from times long past, the current incarnation of Noblegarden is a contrast between ancient traditions and modern interpretations. While some races of Azeroth try to stay true to the original spirit of the holiday, others prefer a more lighthearted approach -- in essence, looking everywhere for festively decorated eggs and collecting the goodies found within.

Whether you celebrate Noblegarden in the traditional manner or you have a yearning for chocolates and festive garments, we hope you’re able to come together and give yourselves a break from the conflict between Horde and Alliance.

ABOUT NOBLEGARDEN

Though its origins are steeped in druidic festivals from times long past, the current incarnation of Noblegarden is a contrast between ancient traditions and modern interpretations. While some races of Azeroth try to stay true to the original spirit of the holiday, others prefer a more lighthearted approach -- in essence, looking everywhere for festively decorated eggs and collecting the goodies found within.

Whether you celebrate Noblegarden in the traditional manner or you have a yearning for chocolates and festive garments, we hope you’re able to come together and give yourselves a break from the conflict between Horde and Alliance.

During the feast of Noblegarden, towns throughout Azeroth are liberally sprinkled with decorated eggs for players to collect. These eggs contain treats fit for kings and commoners!

Activities
Egg Hunt

Search in low-level towns for Brightly Colored eggs; some are well-hidden, while others are in plain view. Race against fellow heroes in an egg-gathering blitz to grab as many eggs as you can!

Increase your speed in egg hunt areas with the Egg Basket, available from Noblegarden merchants and vendors.

Collect Noblegarden Chocolate

The contents of the eggs may vary, but they most often contain chocolates (the delicious currency of Noblegarden), rare special items, and fun items like toys and costumes.

You can use chocolates to purchase items from Noblegarden merchants and vendors.

Daily Quests

The Great Egg Hunt rewards you with gold and humanoid-transforming Blossoming Branches in exchange for Brightly Colored Shell Fragments gathered during your travels.

Dress for the occasion

A selection of unique clothing is available to help you join in the festivities. Celebrate Noblegarden and the return of spring with charming outfits that can be purchased from Noblegarden merchants and vendors, or found inside Brightly Colored eggs.

Merchants and Vendors

These professional hoarders hope to benefit from your egg hunting by exchanging trinkets for Noblegarden Chocolate. They’ll trade you toys that transform others into rabbits (or rabbit-like humanoids), festive clothing, mounts, and more for your leftover confections.

Find out more by clicking on the tabs above.

Noblegarden gives you the chance to collect a seasonal mount and pet, as well as a variety of costumes, fun items, and of course chocolates!

Seasonal Mount

Swift Springstrider

This mount can be found inside Brightly Colored Eggs if you’re very lucky, and is also available from Noblegarden merchants and vendors in exchange for 500 Noblegarden Chocolates.

Seasonal Pet

Spring Rabbit

Summoned with the Spring Rabbit’s foot, this fuzzy companion can be found in Brightly Colored Eggs or purchased from Noblegarden Merchants and Vendors in exchange for 100 Noblegarden Chocolates.

Class Item

Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit

Mages can purchase this tome from Noblegarden merchants and vendors in exchange for 100 Noblegarden Chocolates.

Costumes and Fun Items

Festival garments

Tuxedos, Elegant Dresses, and Spring Robes that allow you to plant flowers at will are all available from merchants (and crammed inside Brightly Colored Eggs).

Spring Circlets

Wear one of these elegant circlets to get in the Noblegarden mood. They can be purchased from merchants in exchange for 50 chocolates. The original Spring Circlet can also be found inside Brightly Colored Eggs, but not the pink or black varieties.

Blossoming Branch

This branch puts a Rabbit costume on a targeted party member, ensuring that they can’t hide from the spirit of the season! It can be found in Brightly Colored Eggs, received as a quest reward, or can be purchased from merchants in exchange for 10 chocolates.

Egg Basket

Holding this basket in your off-hand will increase your speed by 60% for 10 seconds, allowing you to find eggs faster! This quest reward only functions during the Noblegarden event where Brightly Colored Eggs are hidden.

Spring Flowers

Hold this bouquet of Spring Flowers in your off-hand and shake it to place rabbit ears on yourself or someone else. This item can be purchased from Noblegarden merchants and vendors in exchange for 50 chocolates, or can be found in Brightly Colored Eggs.

Noblegarden Egg

This item allows you to place a Brightly Colored Egg on the ground. It can be purchased from Noblegarden merchants in exchange for 5 Noblegarden Chocolates.

Seasonal Food

Noblegarden Chocolates are not only the seasonal currency – they’re also a delicious treat to feast on!

Done one round to have it off the list. Will see in Bloodhoof Village if there is something more to it than herds of people trying to be first to en egg.

The whole cross-realm thing that blizzard added sucks for all world events. We've got the same problem as we have with getting ores or other gatherables in the outland. In my opinion the cross-realm feature is the worst invention by blizzard ever. On my Realm There are too many alliance pvp players so this isn't even fun for pvp purpose.

I hope they drastically increase number of places for spawning several objects and also increase spawn-rate. Or shut down the damn feature.

Nothing new with Noblegarden except CRZ feature and collecting eggs.

Why not making more places for egg-hunting? Why not make it like Isle of Thunder - no CRZ feature?

So 30 mins spent between Razor Hill and Brill for a grand total of 2 eggs. Yet another reason CRZ is complete and utter fail apart from the few people who want it for PVP reasons. Keep it up Blizz and your subs will keep going down. Guess I wont be getting that purple drake after all.

One of the least fun of the holiday events. It's nothing but a long drawn out camp fest and with CRZ the situation is even worse now.

Spawn rates need drastically increasing to compensate for this.

Experience of this event: Day One. Spent about 15 Minutes camping eggs, wishing I had a Ra'sha's Sacrificial Dagger in Azure Watch. I get to 20 eggs, before realizing I will be spending the entire week doing this to get the Achievements (After the Full Meta this year). Decided to visit Goldshire. Subsequently greeted by about 3 90's stroking the wall of the Inn and Blacksmith tenderly at each Egg Spawn spot waiting for a new egg. In the meantime some slightly raised voices being directed at Other Realmers and players. Everybody loves Noblegarden ;)

Oh dear. Your are gonna have to turn off cross realm, for 1 it totally ruins leveling and 2 this holiday is be ransacked. there are too many players looking for eggs. Resulting in lots of people not being able to do the holiday achievements. I think you should only cross realm low player populated realms. Comon turn the crappy thing off.

On the in-game calendar it says it starts at 10:00 AM server time, and now it's almost half past 10 and it didn't start!
An old Wowhead post says it starts on 2:00 PM though.

Which one is right?

Noblegarden starts on April 1 at 2:00 PM and ends on April 8 at 2:00 PM--a change from holidays starting overnight on the weekends. Brightly Colored Eggs have been hidden all across the starting areas for both Alliance and Horde players to discover. These eggs can contain chocolates which serve as a currency to buy seasonal goodies--sometimes they also have special prizes! Simply head out to one of your faction's starting areas, grab some quests, and get out there and hunt eggs! Maybe you'll even earn some achievements along the way!
