Dragon Soul Difficulty Change

During the scheduled server maintenance on the week of April 30, the “Power of the Aspects” spell will grow more powerful, reducing the health and damage dealt of all enemies in the Dragon Soul raid by 20%. This spell will grow progressively stronger over time to reduce the difficulty and make the encounters more accessible. The spell will affect both normal and Heroic difficulties, but it will not affect the Raid Finder difficulty.

Don’t need the help of the Dragon Aspects? The spell can be disabled by talking to Lord Afrasastrasz at the beginning of Dragon Soul.

We hope you continue to enjoy Dragon Soul, and that these changes encourage you to attempt a higher difficulty, or just keep pushing to down that next boss.

@Impaza: Really? Blizz doesen't make much effort in putting out content like in TBC, deal with it. The chance of a new raid coming before MoP is so low i don't even wanna guess so GL with next 4-8 months of totaly nerfed DS

Why? You want everyone to have access to all of the content of the game - LFR did that just fine, and is laughably easy. What's the point of this..? Taking any sense of achievement out of the game makes it feel boring alot faster...

Guys guys guys... again with the QQ about the nerf? If you are really as hardcore as you say to be you should have DS raids on farm for a while now, and if that's not the case, well... maybe you're not that hardcore as you think you are and a nerf should be welcome. I mean, panda's on their way, if you're "progressing" right now you're more casual then you think, stop whining and if you're that good just turn that friggin' nerf off!

Seriously Blizzard, Dragonsoul is Easy enough as it is, I´ve not been in a guild to progress or anything like that but ONLY in 3-4 Weeks I´ve been raised from low Itemlvl 365 to 395! With only Pugs and LFR! Why do you need to do this nerf? don´t you see that you actually loose more people by doing this? Kids don´t raid because they can´t understand tactics so gear dosen´t matter! Get real and get Vanilla in your thinking!

@Dedmage: Wow you are really blind then, so tell me mr " I know everything " What happened to the 10-12 FULL realms, why is it 2 FULL realms left, why is it 85 % alliances and like 15 % horde on the " Best " server in the game , Outland. @Wargona: Here's the problem with that argument, there are more casual gamers than hardcore ones, so if the realms aren't full, the only logical reason for this would be that casual gamers aren't staying. Keeping things difficult to accomplish won't encourage most casual gamers to stay.

@Eytukan: Probably because most of the players of WoW wants an easy game without any hard tactics, and for that reason they've nerfed it. After all, the majority decides.

If you were creating a game, you would make a game that is like the majority likes it to earn more money on the game, right? Well why do you think Blizzard is any different..?

At least they've made the possibility of making it harder again, for all those like you out there, who actually wants a "hard" gameplay.
Though, in reality 99% of those complaining about it being nerfed probably wont even remove the buff...

as a "braindead zombie", I don't think this is nessecary. Isn't DS supposed to be hard? If you can't make it, then do heroics and raid finder until you're good enough. Thou I suppose they are doing this so that more ppl can get the achievement...

guys why wine so retarded blizz did actually said this a long time ago i dont now if you cant read up or is lamers btw half of you isnt eaven good progressed and know the game and btw why does 8/8 hc people whine they got date on the achiev, so it just makes it easier farm for them+ the new gear will still be useless in mop so why farm it...... Stop whining start playing.

The solution to the !@#$%ing would be add it to Feats of Strength for the die hards .This is not a niche game so try to think out off the box.
If you get all your self-esteem out of a game it gets me worried.
Take the game serious but do not over react, its not a job it is and will stay a game if your not a "gold seller" or an addict .
We all pay to enjoy everyone in our own way and skills.
If we all could respect each other this virtual world would be a better place but as it is a representation of the real world i doubt we all can get alone thats why its good Blizz judges its own game on base of facts not emotions
