World of Warcraft TCG Tomb of the Forgotten Set Now On Sale

World of Warcraft TCG Tomb of the Forgotten Set Now On Sale

The final addition to the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game’s “Aftermath” block, Tomb of the Forgotten, introduces a new monster race -- the proud and ritualistic Tol’vir -- and three new monster heroes: paladin, priest, and rogue.

For generations, would-be conquerors have ravaged the land in search of a mythical Titan weapon -- a weapon safeguarded by a proud race. To defend the world, you must steel yourself and brave the Lost City of the Tol’vir. The future is not etched in stone.

As with previous World of Warcraft Trading Card Game sets, players will have the chance to obtain randomly inserted Loot™ cards that provide cosmetic items for their online World of Warcraft characters. The Loot cards in Tomb of the Forgotten are:

Sand Scarab (Common), allowing players to summon a non-combat companion to accompany them on their adventures.

Spurious Sarcophagus (Uncommon), providing the spooky experience of being trapped inside a mummy’s tomb, complete with creepy creaking upon entry audible to everyone within earshot.

White Camel (Rare), granting your character an exclusive mount to venture through Azeroth in true Tomb of the Forgotten style.

Tomb of the Forgotten Booster Packs contain 16 cards per pack. The Tomb of the Forgotten Display Box contains 36 packs, and the Tomb of the Forgotten Epic Collection contains everything you see here:

We all know that Blizzard cares more about the Americans than any other. It states it's global but they are not, very much the other way round.

Europe will always comes first with me.

Thanks for putting it on the US Blizzard Store ONLY, and then making a blog post about it in Europe... lol.

Come on Blizz, show us first world citizens some love ;)

@Boem: Even tho it havnt been uploaded on the eu store, its still good information for those that plays the game. If you should have a problem with any of it, it should be that it havnt been added to the eu store, and not this post.

Also, usa (and the rest of north america) is a so called first world country too.

@Domié: that's what she's implying, that they aren't available to buy on EU store, yet they still post on the EU homepage

@Guywitaxe: Exactly! The first line of this article reads 'The final addition to the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game’s “Aftermath” block, Tomb of the Forgotten, is now on sale in the online Blizzard Store.'

It's a bit misleading really! I love collecting these trading cards but sadly there aren't any shops near me that sell them. To buy them on the US store I need a credit card, and I don't have one for the simple reason that I don't like spending money I may or may not have yet. If only they would make them available on the European store, I would be able to pay for them via direct debit.

I get shiny card, Blizzard get's money... it's a win-win situation ;D

@Domié: You are wrong about the thing that North America is also a first world country, it is only European countrys that is first worlds countrys, north america is the second world, USA and other north american countries is second world countries.

@Тирил: Hilarious, I find myself agreeing with this. Why, Blizzard, do you excluded 95% of your playerbase by releasing TCG only Mounts? Not all of us can justifiiy paying obscene amounts of money on cards for the /chance/ to get aforementioned mounts. And if we can't justify that, we certainly can't justify paying with organs on Ebay for them.

Some iof us just want to play your game and enjoy it. Stop making it about the money.

@Penanna: You can buy it with gold, so its not impossible to get a hand of it if you really care about it.

Either way, its not an item that have any effect on your character, so i dont really see the problem with them making profit on it. As long as you dont get equipment, it doesnt change the game.

@Domié: Could care less about the dress.. ahem. I mean epics. I can get them in-game. But this stuff is the most important stuff in WoW, because it is about having fun. Ethereal portal. Pinata. Paint. Path of Illidan. Goblin Weather thing. These are the real interesting stuff, not just another epic (at least when it doesn't come with awesome model or outstanding visual proc). There is no fun in numbers.
