WoW Summer Challenge: Outland Mount Roundup
Every week this summer, we’re challenging you to get together with a few friends to explore a part of Azeroth that you may not have seen in a while, or perform a feat that you may have never done. We’re calling them World of Warcraft Summer Challenges, and we’re going to be playing along with you as we hunt down rare achievements, get screenshots of amazing bosses, and try to find some rare gear for our transmogrification sets.
This week’s challenge is: Outland Mount Roundup.
The Netherwing, an unusual brood of dragons, was spawned from the eggs of Deathwing's black dragonflight, and infused with raw nether-energies. Now, they seek to find their identity beyond the shadows of their father's destructive heritage.
Mount seekers and thrill seekers alike have long flocked to Outland in pursuit of some of the finest mounts and most robust adventures anywhere. This week, we're getting together with friends who haven't yet mastered all of the mounts available from the Netherwing, Shatari Skyguard, and Kurenai (Alliance) or Mag'har (Horde), and heading to Netherwing Ledge, Skettis, and Nagrand respectively.

Noteable Achievements:
- Leading the Cavalry — Obtain 50 mounts
- Mountain o' Mounts (Alliance) — Obtain 100 mounts.
- Flying High Over Skettis — Earn exalted status within the Sha'tari Skyguard.
- On Wings of Nether — Earn exalted status with Netherwing.
- Skyshattered — Defeat Captain Skyshatter in the Dragonmaw race on Netherwing Ledge.
- Mag'har of Draenor — Earn exalted status with The Mag'har.
- Oh My, Kurenai — Earn exalted status with the Kurenai.
Desirable gear
"Kurenai" is Draenei for "redeemed." These Broken have escaped the grasp of their various slavers in Outland and have made their home in Nagrand. It is there that they seek to rediscover their destiny.

Next to that, there are also some rare mount drops from dungeons, I thought this challenge was regarding them when I saw the title.

Kill mobs in Skettis - gives small rep, drops Time-lost Scrolls
Use Time-lost Scrolls - summons mini-bosses giving quite a lot of rep, drops tokens
Use their tokens - summon Terrok, "final boss" enemy of this faction - gives large amount of rep when killed.
Also the turn-in quests that give rep too.
Most of items need for this grind are BoE so you can snatch them from AH if you don't like killing mobs, but the grind design isn't really worthy spending thousands. You can even grind the items @ exalted and sell them on AH for considerable gold (Time-lost offering 500g+)

You gain shadow powder from killing normal mobs
Use shadow powder to get shadow potions which makes you able of seeing the ghost mobs which then drops the time-lost scrolls :)
