More Details on Mists of Pandaria Opening Cinematic World Premiere

Don’t miss the world premiere of the World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria opening cinematic at gamescom 2012! The latest creation from Blizzard’s cinematics team will be shown in both English and German on giant screens at our booth in Halle 6.1 (B21).

The opening cinematic will debut at 14:00 on Thursday, August 16, the first fully public day of gamescom. This much-anticipated unveiling will be accompanied by a performance from MANAO - Drums of China – the all-female Chinese drumming group that opened and closed the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. A signing session with Blizzard developers will immediately follow the premiere.

Remember that from August 15-19, our booth will also be showcasing World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, and Diablo III, as well as our famous dance and costume contests, and many other activities.

Visit our Activities page for details, and be sure to check back here soon for more on what we have in store for you at gamescom!

I can't wait to play the real MoP. Shame we cannot keep our chars from the Beta and have to start all over again. The trailer of MoP is good fun too. Well done Blizzard!

OMG!!! amazing i can't wait for it. I do have a little messege for you people who sit there flaming the game. First its a game so why do you complain about the way they make a cinimatic that isn't the game its just a vid and the game should have a bit of fun too it don't take it so damn serious its not like wow is life or death and you have to be all damn serious about it. second its a game you moaners allways moan about but still play and continue to moan go play another game and let the players who enjoy the game enjoy it and have fun!!!

beewolf, i thought the same thing but seeing the cinematic and hear from beta players what is comming in mop im now inviting the next expansion whit open mind.the last thing we need btw in wow is to much nerfing.
we need thrall back and the same thing in ice crown iff you dont q there you cant see 1 another so empty city problem shut be solved for shattrath, dalaran and other higher lvl city's. and put the q back in dragonblight (the battle for undercity) this 1 was best in dragonblight.

i play wow from 2005,but i saw to much upgrades what shut be in benefit for the game.but 1 thing is clear wow is going to fast ,whit nerfing chars and dungeons and deleting quests. also we have to figure out again what best spec is for our chars. i heard people say what is comming whit mop these are interesting.but plz blizz dont nerf chars and dungeons to soon these difficult thing make wow what wow shut be.let the older wow players come back to the game instead looking for other games.

I found the trailer more aimed at a younger audience rather than 15 and up. An im gonna be honest this really maes WoW look like some massive joke.

@Littlechar: I'm 35 and I loved this cinematic. What you're saying is non sense. Appreciation of things isnt age related, it's all relative.

@Littlechar: I suggest you wait for the expansion and stop complaining non sense, the cinematic is beautiful made and so is the expansion,I'm 21 and I love it.Everybody is used to serious and old fashion wow,it's time for a change, something new from all points of views:D...If you guys don't like the pandareans or mop itself you can always stay at your old class and race, nobody's forcing you to change(which I believe you will change cuz of curiosity) or simply stop playing and stop annoying everybody else with your non sense.

@Oramir: They're already steadily ruining one of the greatest fantasy realms that any company has ever built, solely by introducing meaningless anime-inspired pandas to it. A few moments of slapstick can hardly make it worse... or so I thought. This trailer is utterly ridiculous.
A mockery of their own franchise... silly Blizzard.
