Scenario Preview Now Live!
You can now read more about the Mists of Pandaria Scenarios feature in our updated expansion preview website! Check out our sneak peek at two of the scenarios you and your friends will be able to play in Mists of Pandaria: A Brewing Storm and Greenstone Village.
What’s a “Scenario”?
Scenarios are short, instanced adventures for three players that directly follow the stories and events in the open world. In a scenario you’ll be presented with a number of goals you need to achieve in order to progress. So instead of “clear trash, kill boss, rinse, repeat”, you will be given objectives you have to complete to move the scenario’s story forward. Yes, that’s right – scenarios are heavily story-driven, much more so than dungeons.

You’ll be able to queue for scenarios, dungeons, raids, and battlegrounds all at the same time in Mists of Pandaria. Scenarios share a common UI with dungeons and raids as part of the Dungeon Finder, and you can check your queue statuses by clicking on the LFD icon next to your minimap.

Dungeons in MoP are easier than the heroic ones in cataclysm, which I think is sad. Although, easier to get gear to get raiding ready.

Now this is the most awesome feature, I say! Very important for low pop realms like Daggerspine.

Because I was a newbie, I did not know how low the server was untill I got 85 and learned some stuff.
AH is almost empty, and no one is even buying anything.
No raids or anything. You got nothing to do at all exept battlegrounds, dungeons and raid finder.

What I like most about this is that it means a real alternative to interminable waits in LFD/LFR because of shortages of tanks and healers. At last the DPS gets some love!

Sounds intriguing but not if there are only, say, 2 at launch and 1-2 each patch. Anyone know how far along they intend to push this?

And offcourse they had to screw it up with a new addition to a system:

I can see this giving us the randoms more grief and headaches then actually be use full. I leave it up to the smart people to figure out why, but i recall something similar, failing hard in the past, just hoping to ring a bell with someone here.
Another good reason for me to not get pandaria, and just see how long i want to pay for my sub.
