7 months... and counting...

erm, where is the option at bliz?

I was told my friends to stop playing this game but sometimes wanted to check my characters or maybe some dungeon runs. After i attempt to log game, remembered i was add them as real id friends... Also i hate pandarian race personally, but also found them very higher quality about skin, movement and emotions but i can not create one. Think that when i log as a panda my friends will see me online and will want to add me his/her group or maybe will ask to show his/her new transmog gear appreance. And she/he will see im a panda and will tell me this: oh Melis, I thought you hate pandarians... In my opinion there is another problem our friends want to get grouped ALWAYS even while doing dailies. When i log my another char in another server they see me as online and will ask for help if she/he stuck on a quest or mobs. I have to log back my mains and have to help he/her even i just wanted to play with my noob priest on cross realm... Addition, Sometimes game requere log time playing, especially when new patch popued on, they can see me whenever i log even in a deep night and might be there my friend also online and she/he will think i'm an addicted and lifeless player, cause i was already played the game enough whole day...
Please fix this problem.

I have an introverted side, and sometimes I just want to log in without any of my friends knowing that I am around (and ready to participate in events with them etc.) and do some stuff by myself, this feature is like the best thing for me, but is it still coming? It's been so many months already..

Maybe it was just a troll from Bliz²

So where is this guys?? This blog is from Sept 2012 and said "coming months" which is generally expected to be 1-3 months surely :(

hi to all!! this are great news for the times you want to play solo listening to your music and not having to talk/type to no one,dut how many times have you seen ppl you know to log in unsual times r places? that times wheren't you worried at all that a friends account was comprimised?
i know that i have many times in the past,so i like this as an idea but i also have my concerns about ppl using this hack acounts without anyone noticing them.

Can i pleas you dear Blizzard for not wasting time on damn Offline game play addon? Extand (on off battlenet) delete the (PvP oN oFF) on PVP serwers? Fix the game play not social. Social only holds peoples on this game. Best time for game play to do it. If some one cry he was killed on the zone horde or aliance, i dont care, he chuse play on PvP realm so should take consecuences as real warrior. Pleas again. DOnt waste time on usles social fixes. Fix game play for PvP players.

There are already plenty of addons which do the same or move the incoming whispers to a different channel. so i dont see why your couldnt wait for this......

I foresee problems with this... if you do NOT appear offline in guild lists then any of your friends that are in your guild will still be able to see that you're online. If you DO appear offline in guild lists/who/tar, this may become a problem with griefers who cannot be found, cannot be targeted and cannot be located. It's not so good as a guild officer or GM to be unable to know who's actually online in your guild and who's not.

Personally, I won't be using this feature. If I don't feel like talking to anyone, I'll let them know and simply switch to [Busy].
And to avoid awkward moments, changing to Appear Offline should also apply to guild roster and /who list, and others would get a 'No player named X is currently playing' message when trying to /whisper... maybe making us untargetable using /tar command also?
Otherwise I don't see how this will help us be anonymous.
