Activities
Can you feel it? The spirit world draws close during the Day of the Dead. This is why we decorate the graves of our dearly departed with flowers and candles and offerings: to welcome them back, even if only for a time.
Dance with Catrina
Let us cherish and honor those we have lost in their ghostly presence, so that they might eat and drink and smile and know that they are loved. Dance with Catrina and you will be transformed into a skeleton and unlock an achievement.
The Grateful Dead
Purchase some Orange Marigold or Bouquet of Orange Marigolds from Chapman and use them to see the otherwise invisible spirit in the graveyard. Acquire some Bread of the Dead and give it to the Cheerful Spirit.
ITEM REWARDS
Vanity items:
- Bouquet of Orange Marigolds
These beautiful flowers are said to attract spirits and help one communicate with the departed on the Day of the Dead, and also will help you detect invisibility during that very day. - Recipe: Bread of the Dead
This delicious bread will help you recover your health and mana. - Whimsical Skull Mask (seasonal)
You can wear this grim mask during the Day of the Dead only. - Macabre Marionette (seasonal)
Your reward for the Grateful Dead quest is a Macabre Marionette, a small pet that looks like a skeleton wearing a sombrero and holding a pair of maracas. This pet can only be used during the Day of the Dead event - it cannot be learned and kept like other small pets.
OTHER REWARDS
Achievements
The Day of the Dead currently offers 1 achievement (Dead Man's Party) that grants 10 achievement points.

Aerie Peak
Nagrand
Aggramar
Come on blizz, make it a perma pet for pet battle!, the undead pet master just outside Dalaran have it, so why cant we? (ofc tons of other pet master NPC have re-colored / skinned mobs we cant have that i had love to be able to tame, but still).
If it have anything to do with japanese cant see bones, then make it a EU / US pet only! (just like japanese server have pigs / cats / dragons that only they where able to gain), so, i dont think its unfair that we are able to get 1 pet they cant, when they have like 5-7 we cant get.
Another sulution is to make it like "winters / fathers little helper pet", make it say stuff like "wow wow wow, its not the day of the dead yet, imma go back to my sleep!", but still give us the option to use it for pet battle (even tho this sulution will suck for ppl who kinda like this pet).
