Support Superstorm Sandy Relief Efforts – Adopt a Cinder Kitten Today!

Now up for adoption in the Pet Store: the Cinder Kitten, a fiery little feline looking for a home to warm. Adopt this adorable rascal, and you’ll help bring relief to the victims of Superstorm Sandy in the process.

From now until December 31, 2012, 100% of the 10€ (9£) adoption fee will be donated to the American Red Cross's Superstorm Sandy relief efforts. This support will enable the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support, and other assistance to victims of this disaster.

The Cinder Kitten doesn’t just have good looks -- this kitty has claws, and makes a purrfect addition to any Pet Battle team. The Cinder Kitten has Rare-quality stats and is a part of the Elemental family. This not-so-cool cat uses many Beast abilities in addition to Dragonkin and Elemental, and can also Prowl, Leap, and Rend its way to a 3-hit combo against its foes—and look good doing it.

Please can everybody stop crying about what went on in different countries when the US didn't intervene or didnt care about what happened, you all talk utter rubbish if anybody actually gave a crap you wouldn't cry on here you would go online and donate money to charities such as the red cross, which is there to offer help and support to the families around the world, Another thing the Cinder kitten atleast all the proceeds are going to the red cross most items you buy for a charity only small portion of it goes to the charity and then the consumer takes a share as well.

If you dont like the fact that the USA dont help anybody else and the fact they wage wars on every other terrorist country which good on them, then dont buy their products, dont play their games, and dont come on here moaning about it, do something, take action, donate your hard earned money to the various charities, and to all those who do do that good on you my heart goes out to you i really do think your brilliant for that.

I think this is a great idea, and I also think that Aelira is missing a major point. the politicians decide whether or not to sign a treaty such as the Kyoto Treaty. Are we then to judge the whole country based on it's politicians? If we did that, then the world would be a much poorer place.

The monies from the sale of this pet will hopefully go to support those civilians, citizens, call them what you will, who have been affected by the actions of Sandy.

Have a little more compassion, it doesn't cost you anything. Perhaps you should imagine yourself caught up in a natural disaster, and having people with thoughts similar to yourself saying, "no, I'm not giving you anything as your government, chose not to blah, blah, blah..."

US, along with China and Australia are the biggest polluters in the world = biggest contributors to climate change = have an instrumental part in making such disasters occur more often.

US refused the Kyoto protocol, thereby increasing the climate instability for all of us. And you ... ask us ... to help ... them? Wow :)

I do not wish anything bad to US, but not sending a dime this direction, EVER. Have a nice day everyone.

Well they make a relief pet for japan also thats true but you should know also that Japan is a strong ally to USA as u can see now about their behavior on the island crisis with China though the one thing i don't understand is Turkey is a strong ally to USA too but when i tried to invite a player to the game it said that i couldn't get the 2 man mount. Is it that hard to give a virtual mount or do we recruit aliens in my country ?

I understand the need to rebuild after Superstorm Sandy hit, but wouldn't making a rare pet for the homeless and starving Africans be more worthwhile

@Riingor: I will always agree with that, but they will face several problems if they try to send aid to Africa, not all the aid is actually received by those in need over there, and let's face it, people will care more about what's happening at their own doorsteps than something that is happening everyday in a very different continent with very different people people and cultures and possibly religion.

So many Europeans being all ignorant about U.S.A., also saying Americans are ignorant, but I hardly ever see Americans being as ignorant as these guys here...

O say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
...

Beautiful song, huh? :)

@Riingor: If he was an American he'd most likely be on the US Battle(dot)net website , unless he's on a EU account , so therefore you're the one being "ignorant" and Americans not smart , Americans are just like us EU people some smart others not so smart .

@Shambhali: I agree this is pathetic on many levels.. but blizzard are American based so ofc they are going to help victims of its own blood.. they did help japan. People are always welcome to donate money to charities in your area looking to help victims of whatever, whenever... this campaign is to the Americans, you're complaining to Americans for helping Americans.. this is one of a thousand campaigns... I'm sure blizzard donate money to other charities but your picking out one in a thousand like i said XD calm down and if you have a complaint either keep it to yourself or go inform a blizzard game master of your displeasure. I hate Americans and would rather see them burn in their own putrid mess they call a country but you don't see me exclaiming that point across the internet :D If you're so concerned about other countries write a letter or call blizzards HQ and ask to speak to a manager of a team or someone high in command and ask to make a campaign for a cause you think is needed :) Please do that if you have a cause you want helping :D from me Xigel and everyone at Seedless melons Have a nice day :D

@Shambhali: This is the fourth pet they sell for charity, and disaster assistance is something they didn't start doing till the earthquake/tsunami in Japan last year, I'm pretty sure we'll see more of these in the future. This helps the people that had nothing to do with the decisions you are mentioning, I fail to see why the individuals of east coast America who lost everything should not get aid just because they're born in the screwed up "mighty USA".

How come great old USA abuses Red Cross that is meant to do charity work for third world countries? Great old USA does have disaster fund of its own, just read budget part labeled "Defense department", that is $900 billion, usually used to create disaster outside of USA, maybe this time the army could actually do something useful to fix things?
