World of Warcraft Fast Patch 5.1.0A Notes

Notes for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria patch 5.1 can be found here.

Bug Fixes
- Pet Battle Abilities that use a shoot or missile animation will now properly display their visual effect.
- Disabling Loss of Control in the Interface menu will now also disable the red cooldown swipes on the action bar in addition to the notification in the center of the screen. Loss of Control Alerts can be disabled in the Game Menu by going to Interface > Combat > and un-checking Loss of Control Alerts.
- When Loss of Control Alerts are enabled, the red cooldown swipes will not be displayed for abilities that were already on cooldown and in situations where that cooldown will last longer than the loss of control.
- Night will now fall at the proper time on all realms.
- Objective icons in Scenarios will no longer incorrectly persist until the Scenario is complete.
- Fixed an issue that could cause crashes during Pet Battles.
- Mac
  - Fixed an issue that could cause a crash to occur during in-game cinematics in OSX v.10.6

Disabling Loss of Control in the Interface menu will now also disable the red cooldown swipes on the action bar in addition to the notification in the center of the screen.
At last..... I can delete my addon for disabling this Option....

Thwe point is that i can't open launcher... i don't know why but it tells me to restart it,or if it doesn't help,it told me to contact customer support.I can't open launcher,so what i need to do?!?!

Hmmm still no fist weapon fix, even though the forum is currently flooded with complaints on the subject...interesting. Just turn them back on, we had them in Beta....

Fixed an issue that could cause crashes during Pet Battles.
looks like blizzard Care pets more then characters . What is next blizzard ? we going to Raid with pets FIX the Characters Pokemon Brainless

I should download patch or something,bougth gaming time last sunday and don't really know what is going on,but if i need to download patch,how and where? can't enter to game and it won't start launcher either so don't know really what to do...? someone help me

@Zhephel: you don't have to do anything. The launcher will tell you if you need to download anything or not but typically these hotfixes are server side fixes. Meaning that you do NOT have to worry about anything. Just start the game and play. :)

I dont understand how ppl gets problems with their updates ?? Dont u know how to use computer? I am updating this game since 2007 didnt see any problem yet... :S All patch notes in this website has connecting problem comments wtf?

Why am i getting 'an internal error occured,Please restart.If problems persist contact customer support'' why it's showing that text,worked fine yesterday,shut down computer,now trying to get in to WoW and it's doing only that?

Uncommon gems do not stack automatically when crafted :( I have to do that manually to prevent full bags in no time

Still problems with hunters pets being attacked by mobs during pet battles and causes interruption in battle... lost several rare pets on that account

@Phaonis: Well that was an unusually dumb rabble. It's two monks, it's a class, ( Not "him" ). It's simply a picture relevant to Mists of Pandaria, and it's nothing wrong with it, and on the other hand monks are not as you describe it being nerfed to the ground, they are not the best possibly, but they work and are not 'weak' compared to the most other classes if played correctly.

There's no information regarding the pet battle daily, but i can't abandon them no more? If so, lvling them will be long, hard and boring now. :( Thx blizzard, one more thing to give up with in Wow.

how nice the update again wil be, my starter gets stuck on "initializing" and when it gets to dowloading it just doesnt. problems started today when trying to start wow with new update. any ideas?

AAAND why nothing on fixing the Silithid Hatchling bug (they won't spawn during sandstorms), pet battle achievements not rewarding points and hunter pets keeping up the moronic behaviour on Elegon...?

My laptop is getting abnormally hot since today's tiny update. Disabled all addons, put all graphics down to see whether it makes a difference, and it doesn't. It's as hot as if I was raiding 25man on 'Good' settings even though I'm only doing pet battles. So instead of the usual 52 celcius it's at 62 celcius, my fans are really loud which is why I'm noticing it. The additional fan turns itself on as soon as the temp hits 54c. Dunno whether it's something that this update is causing but it's annoying.
