A guild for older folks

If you are in your mid to late 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's and up...
If you have family, work long hours or have a busy schedule... If the words "obligation", "commitment" and "rules" make you twitch... If WoW is a place of relaxation versus a second job... If your guildies don't understand when you say "Sorry, have to log - my kid"... If you are embarrassed of declining yet another invitation to do a guild run or raid... If you really can't be fussed with guild spats and dramas and wish folks would just get along... If you pine for the companionship of other adults who understand your life situation... If you like to roleplay on your own terms... Nodding to the above? Perhaps The Elders is for you! The Elders...
Some nice-to-know statistics:
If you have interest in joining us, please read more about the Elders in our forum: http://the-elders.guildomatic.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=1 And leave an application on our private Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=241782500444 Please note that this guild may not be your cup of tea if you enjoy a lot of guild action and activity (runs, raids, events, meetings). For the most part, we all putter about doing our own thing while enjoying each other's company on the chat channels. That's not to say that we don't do that stuff too sometimes, but it happens when it happens instead of following a strict regiment. The guild changes to Cata will probably inspire us to team up and do more stuff together, but we won't be stressing about it, that's for sure. |

Well I've just submitted mine as well. This sounds like exactly the sort of guild I've been looking for and perfect for the sort of player that I am. I think I nodded to everything on Brambline's opening post :o)

It is even said Brambline is an ancient mummy herself, but we havn't found any real evidence just yet ;)

Umm could be what Im looking for, do you have level restrictions if I were to 'roll' a charcter?
|
|
Djanglaw: It's been lovely having you with us so far!
Llelldorin's right! I'm a 41 year old mother of 2 teenage boys. Which probably explains what inspired creating an "adult only" guild in the first place! My profile on Facebook for the sceptics ;-) http://www.facebook.com/AndreaFryer Ursala: Please do! We have lots of dads in the Elders, and not just dads with smaller children but some who play WoW with their adult children as well. Fluk: No level, class, race restrictions what so ever. So feel free to apply (granted you are 25 years old or over) |

Hello.
My grlf and I might be joining you soon if you'll take us ofc. She is 25 and I'm 26 so we seem to be "Elderly" enough :D The reason we are interested is because neither of us ever tried RP. It seems imersive and fun, I hope :) We plan to rerool belfs, a priest and a mage, but won't be spending most of our time on Sha'tar...I still have a guid to run on Bronzebeard and all our RL friends and relatives play there. Anywho my main question is do you have a lot of guildies leveling right now ( hoping to do some dungeons IC), and how big is the server population? And do you hang out mostly in Silvermoon or Org ? |

Submitted my application as well. Frankly, you sound exactly the sort of guild I've been looking for a long time.
Ok, my Tauren pally is still pretty low level, but as Cataclysm is so chock full of new content, I decided to start from scratch and go through the whole levelling brouhaha yet again. But hey, It's about the voyage, not necessarily the destination... :) |
