Lag issue, my computer or the game?

Hi.
I have a lag issue that i want help with, i have waited a long time before posting here as i have been trying to sort it out on my own, even asking help on another forum as i know that blizzard support are busy with other problems. First the problem. When i run in some areas i get a lag issue where it is like the screen freezes for a short moment, almost not noticeable and then jumps forward to the point where it should be, it do looks like the screen is not updating as it should. this freezing appears once every 1-2 second, and the freezing is short 0,1 second or so and can go on for 5-10 minutes then stop and everything works normal. i don’t get it in dungeons, only in open terrain and cities, i can be alone or there can be many players. What i have tried to do to fix this. I deleted WTF, cache and interface. I reinstalled the game completely and did run without add-ons. I normally play on ultra settings but i also tried Low (minimum) I have uninstalled the graphics driver and installed new ones. I have tried to run the game in DX11, the lag was still there but not as noticeable, but as i run in DX11 and tab out to windows the game crashes so that is not an option right now. I have checked the PC temperatures and they are all normal, so there is no overheating. I have the latest system drivers for my motherboard, sound network and so on. What computer am i playing on. Gigabyte GA-X58A-UDR3 Intel I7 950 Processor 6GB Corsair DDR3 Dominator Ram Gigabyte GTX460 1GB OC Graphics And i run the game from a Corsair Force 120G SSD Now this computer should run the game just fine, but it doesn’t. Does anyone else have the same problem or is it just me? What is the next step to try? i could open the computer up and replace the graphic card. |

If your game crashes when tabbing out of WoW in DX11, then something is definitely up.
Try this tool: http://www.thesycon.de/eng/latency_check.shtml If you get a red bar either some driver or a piece of hardware is acting up. |

It is all green. |

Also during the game when the issue occurs? |
|
|
absolute maximum 794 when i have the problem.

Try copying Wow to a regular harddrive and see if the issue persists then, given your description it seems like your WoW stutters due to the new data being streamed (usually only apparent in non confined spaces)

Should add that this started at Cataclysm or one of the pre patches, had no problems before.
also i have a 100Mbit fiber connection. |

Any chance of a blizzard employee respond?
Is this a problem others has as well? Or is it just me of all those millions of players? Please? Pretty please? Please pretty please with sugar on top? |

The problem is fixed, it was my computer, or well some USB driver problem, had to reinstall windows.
