The Elders will be holding their annual cross-faction, cross-server new years party in the colorful caverns on Un'goro crater again this year. Last year we had around 50 people at the same time at peak times, this year we'll probably have many more now with the recent release of Cata. Starts: Friday, 31st December at 21:00 Ends: Will continue over to the new year and for as long as needed into the night Place: Caverns of Marshal's Refuge, Un'Goro Crater http://www.wowwiki.com/Marshal%27s_Refuge To get a summon, type: /join NewYearsParty This is the perfect chance to dress up in your very best and to show off your most peculiar and wondrous possessions and minipets that enhance the party spirit. For instance many of our members will be using moonstones to create epic pillars of light throughout the caverns. It's really quite a sight to behold! We have some fun events planned for the evening, what those are - you'll have to come and check for yourself! To get a taste of what it was like last year... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UG9orRshCrE And how to get there with a baby toon (if you're coming from another server) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XWtBNoizzA&feature=related Disclaimer: If you're one of those people who think people don't have a life if they have nothing better to do than play WoW on New years eve, then you've never had small children who are sleeping in bed, never had a broken foot which keeps you at home, never been 9 months pregnant, never been sick, never lived in a secluded area, never been babysitting, never been broke or never been utterly bored with the concept of going out partying amongst drunk and rowdy people in the freezing weather. :-) |

Sounds like fun, if my FCM actually does something other than spit out errors, I may be able to pop along and join in the festivities.

Nope, cave is still neutral. It does, however, now contain quite a few constructs walking around inside it. If you see it, you won't believe it ...... sorry couldn't resist. |
|
|
The constructs are however yellows, so not aggressive :-). I'm sure that at the party they'll be in for a good whacking though!

Bump for great justice!

If I'm around on WoW, I might come to this! |

Happy New Year already to all Sha´tarians, a bit early, but after today it is most likely an internet-less existence for us as we depart for the boat and the big ice.
Throw a smashing new year´s bash and we´ll be back before you can say penguin. cheers from Buenos Aires, Havelok (Bart) and Emilianah (Evelien) |

Aaaaaaand back to the top.
Wishing each and every Sha'tarian a very happy new year, and hoping that this event goes well. ♥ Rio |
