Ring of Frost vs Mind Control

I was in the car the other day and began wondering if with the expansion there were any unseen exploitations of mechanics that might not yet have been noticed....
So I immediatly began thinking mind control. Probably because it seems like a mechanic that could be used to exploit other spells. I then thought... CC because lets face it, MC usually does loads to that, I've won plenty of fights because I MCed the enemy healer and the enemy dps then accidentally used his CC on his own healer. I then thought well what new CC spells are there? And thats when I thought "Ring of Frost" the new frost mage spell. I dueled a mage infront of Orgrimmar and asked him to cast ring of frost, I tried to position him ontop of his ring but he didn't get frozen. I was disappointed but then realised that it might be because as he is MCed he becomes part of MY team. So I then wondered "Would MCing the mage cause his ring of frost to affect his previous team mates?" The oppurtunity for me to test this arrived in WSG where I mind controlled a mage that had planted his ring of frost right ontop of me. The center of the ring does not freeze you only the outer part. So I got my mind control on the mage just as his druid friend ran onto the ring to attack me. The druid froze solid and I burst into laughter. My plan had worked and vengence on those frost mages had been dealt, atleast as far as I was concerned. |

I actually did it in a bg, it does work. Its hard to do and can be countered with a counterspell from the mage, but that forces him to silence your shadow spells which leaves you with a small bonus as a healer :)
