Trolling on the PvP forums

I am sick and tired of it. There are few people that try to say something meaningful, but there is big number of people that have nothing relevant to say about the topic, rather they respond some random crap thinking they are funny?! or "owning"?! the person that made the topic originally.
It reminds me of a story my dad used to tell me, it was usually reference to the mentality of most of the people in my country, but i see now that this became something global, so i decided to share it with you guys. Basically in hell people from different countries were sorted into different cauldrons to be boiled for eternity with one devil assigned to guard each cauldron so people don't try to escape. But next to the cauldron in which my fellow countrymen resided there was no devil to guard, simply because when someone attempted to raise up and try to escape the rest of the people were pulling him back... Its the same on these forums and the mmo-champion forums as well. Because of the big number of people that post on the forums more than they actually play the game nothing constructive can come out and its the reason why most of the developers have complete disregard about what we players have to say. I suggest that more serious measures are taken against that kind of behavior, i am not a fan of censorship, but this simply went out of hand and something must be done about it. Thanks.. |

I am not a everyday visitor on forums, but I must admit there are many stupid posts. But it is fun to correct them up and maybe tell why it is like this and this. Having only "wise" guys coming up with things so the only thing you can do is post another post saying "I agree" is not that fun.

Pretty much this. If people don't have the balls to insult people to their faces, they are the ones most likely to be obnoxious on the internet (where they are safe from a punch in the face). So basically, trolls, on any forum, are spineless IRL. |

As Harry Truman said, if you can't stand the heat in the kitchen, get the hell out of it. If you're a PvPer, you have to have a sense of humor and a bit of a thick skin. People here are rough, blunt, sarcastic, ironic and funny. Can't handle it? Then you're taking the game too serious. Chill.

Oh yes let me add some other points kitten missed;
a real pvp er with dedication and skill is ; -spineless ( since they lost it to their "masters" while they learn to play ) -with big ego problems that cant be handled in real life (so in this game or other they try to live in game ) -mostly with a fine belly or skinny as hell ( mentioned something "real life" ? ) -with some "skill" gained by sacrifice of a couple of years -usually from north europe and when u post something with reason / logic, they try to destroy it since they lost their creativity ( actually everything ) to game for infamous "skill", basically your capacity of thinking gives them pain. The mind of pvp ers (rough, blunt, sarcastic, ironic and funny ones ) work like that ; They have been f..ked so much when they begin the game, They used to it, And at the end they like it, so they want to do it with others... ( it is called being thick skinned) İf someone protest this manner , "oh comon, u whine ?" Add a more social stance with intent of using others efforts, remove some skill, make it global what u have? A pver... with guild and progress of course... They f..ked by their gm when they join guild/raid/ progress, After a time they become officer or gm, Guess what they want to do first, and when someone protest it, "oh comon dont get emo man" This game is not runed by 14 years of kidds, The kitchen became hell cause of these over 21 pros (pvp/pve ) who am i ? a casual ofc :) my account expire tomorrow and cancelled sub, cause even u are a casual who dont want to f.ck or f.cked by others, everyone is f.cked by blizzard in game |

Missed this thread, I just made a similar one.
I don't even mind the odd-ball troll post, but it's come to a point where every single post or thread with some useful information just gets overshadowed by immature BS within minutes. We either need stricter moderation, or we need to clean up our own act. Otherwise we might as well stop posting altogether. |
