Sometimes it can bug out, but you can definitely grip someone up to a higher platform.

LoF should work with enemy taget as well

Leap of Faith DOES WORK with difrent levels platforms... usualy.
Sometimes its simply BLOCKED. As with Deathgrip you could not grab enemies from walls in WG during battle, same way you cant grab someone from lower deck during VanCleef encounter. But I perfectly can grip highest dps back up after removing shield during Anhuur encounter in HoO, in Deadmines pull someone on higher platform near ship (outside boss encounter it works for sure).. cant realy think of more "level difrences" in instances .. but it usualy works unless its blocked. |

i wish they would revamp this spell into smthing more useful , i havnt used this spell yet since the launch of cata , because i couldnt find any use for it in pve , also comparing to other classes lvl 85 new spells this one has to be the most unused one :( kind of dissapointed

It can, as someone mentioned, LoS/or bugging out can effect it, but in pvp I use it to pull flag carriers to other levels in WSG and TP. Also managed to pull a pally up to the top of the mine in AB. You just have to be as close to the edge as possible or risk him clipping the edge as he comes up and falling back down.
It does :) You just have to MC them first. |

It works, you just have to stay really close to the edge most of the times. What is more annoying is that you have to face the one you wanna grip, and the cooldown which is way too long.

The only time I've really found this spell useful is in Halls of Origination when someone goes down to pull the lever. You can quickly pull the person to safely so they don't have to run up the stairs. It's still fun to use when a mage blinks ahead of you, though. :)

The problem is, that Leap of Faith moves your target in a straight line to the same or somewhat below your current level of ground (gripping people who are above you is no problem)
Why Deathgrip works, is that it pulls you up and down, in parabole shape (arc) Leap of Faith is a great spell, Blizzard but please Make the cooldown 30 seconds, then I could live with a bug like that, just like blink Make leap of Faith pull people up into the air and then to your current level. |

If there's anything I would like blizzard to add to leap of faith is to add a heal... at least a 10k heal and reduce the cooldown.

It doesnt work if they are not in LoS (Line of Sight) and if your leaping them up onto a ledge you need to leave enough space for them to land on the ledge or else they will be gripped into mid air.

I use it all the time in WSG. You can pull your FC up to the gy, and away from danger. Also, if your fc is in your flag room waiting to cap, go chill on the room of the base. Should they get attacked, you can yank 'em up to you. It's extremely handy, and I'd say out of the three new spells we got in Cata, it's the only one I actually like/use.
I agree! We should also get dual wield and Fiend should be a permanent pet. /eyeroll |

tbh i think the mecanic of this spell should be changed so that it pulls the priest to another player instead of the player to the priest its hardly a leap of faith if the target doesnt have a choice.
and it makes alot more sense to get the priest out of combat to or else change the name to holy grip or summat like that |

A druid talking about Leap of Faith not being a lot of fun for them makes me laugh. Question should be why do druids insist on cycloning my target while I'm right in the middle of pumping a full dps rotation into them and they would otherwise be 100% dead.

firstly im talking about it being less that usefull in arenas for priests
and secondly the name of the spell is hardly right for the mechanic, oh and yes i am the druid ur refering to. i guess the saying dont judge a book by its cover comes to mind here... |
