Tails for Worgen
|
I think Blizz have done an awesome job on the Worgen as an Alliance race. They are dark, mysterious, beastial and above all, fun to play. But an integral part of that beast has been docked... so to speak.
A tail! Why oh why are the most bestial race to grace the face of Azeroth without tails! It would be such an improvement to the overall look. Tails are expressive, dynamic and would make that rear all the more special. Vote in the tail! |

Ah, I havent seen those. But yes a bushy tail... much like with existing wolves or foxes.

Im not so sure....I dont remember the original in-game worgen in SFK and so on having tails. Its not as if they really need them for balance or anything.
What I'd love to see is a better system in the barbershop. At the mo you can only change the Worgen form hairstyle and hope that the human form hairstyle is ok. This is fine if you spend all time in worgen, but if you RP a lot in human form, it would be nice to be able to pick that hairstyle in the barbershop too |

That be what I always say...! |

Original Werewolves from medieval lore did not have tails.
Blizzard have done a good job so far making them these cursed, dark medieval lore about them, and adding a tail to them whould be wrong. Also adding a tail whould make them Furries.. not wereworgen/wolf/gnarly canineman. |
|
|
Thats a good point...theres too many "Furries" jokes about them as it is...they're meant to be dark and brooding, tragic characters...not fluffywuffy...
|
This, and the fact that Worgens that was in the game prior to Cataclysm did not have tails either. |

I agree, Worgen are supposed to be horrid, bestial monsters not furries (sadly we have those running around anyway) They look awesome enough without a tail and as for the expression thing wolves and canines have so much more ways of body language and expression then a tail. Plus worgen are not purely wolves or dogs or any canine, they are wolf-men simple as, yes they will act savage and what not but they will have more human like behavior and body language (examples: eye contact with others - wolves, dogs will not do this as a general rule unless there's aggression)
I could go on for a good while ranting the differences and ways a worgen could communicate without a tail but I'm lazy and can't be bothered. Either way the tail is pointless for this type of wolf man |

someone ate mine :<

No! Keep the bloody tails far away! Or it wont be long before people will have pet-worgen and every worgen will wiggle their tail around each time they're happy.
And seriously, face it.. Tauren > Worgen, any day. |

since when is this a horde-alliance thing? troll be trolling.

Worgen's need tails, nuff said.

I bet Gilnean people already have problems to find fitting clothes. Imagine how embarrassing it would be for one to transform back to human form and realize that one has a hole in the backside of one's trousers.

Do taurens use their tails to shoo off swarms of buzzing flies? ;) |
