Greetings, Im trying to get some bindings right but still haven't found a solution.
Problem is im a caster and when i click with my right mouse key on an enemy or mob its start auto-attacking with my staff but I want to place my wand there. So if i right-click on a mob it begins attacking with my wand, I tried some bindings and looked around but couldn't find it. Please help. |

Not sure this will work, by try this :)
ESC -> Keybindings -> Whatever action button you want and bind it to rightclick, then drag the ability shoot over there. Not sure if it works, but it's worth a shot. good luck :) |

Yeah, right click is the 'default' start autoattack. Its also used to action NPC's etc as well, sell at shops. Is it wise messing round with the right click... I dunno, but all keybindings ultimatly come down to personal choice.
The macro I would use for enabling shooting would be #shoot /cast !shoot (the ! means you wont accidently stop shooting if you click the button again, you can only disable it by moving, jumping, etc) Make this macro, drag the macro onto one of your action bars (or just drag the SHOOT button from GENERAL tab in Spellbook to bar), then 1) ESC 2) Select KEYBINDINGS 3) Go to the ACTIONBAR / BUTTON key binding and left click it to select, press the right mouse button You have no bound your RMB to Shoot. Good luck, I am NOT testing it :) ALTERNATIVE : Use the ADDON Clique, easier to correct keybinding mistakes. 1) INSTALL CLIQUE 2) Open your Spellbook 3) Click the BOTTOM tab to enable Clique 4) Open the GENERAL tab 5) Rightclick SHOOT You have now bound SHOOT to the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON. You can now fine tune that setting by making it target enemies only etc. Much safer :) |
