|
|
|
I really don't know...
I wish I did, though... Reminds me, put a few more up |

Vanilla just means the ordinary, original, conventional, most basic version of most things including the base level of WoW. |

Great list, Sinsalia. Keep up the good work!
I have added this thread to the Helpful Newcomer Reading compilation sticky atop this forum section :) http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1528623475 |

A few corrections:
GTFO = Get the !?#% out, not Get the !?#% off. GZ = Congratulations, not GZZ. |

I hope you don't mind if I make a small addition to this list, with the Vanilla dungeons of WoW. Should be able to help the new players out a bit, I hope. :-)

What about the new raids:
BoT etc. I'm sure you can think of more and scrap half the abbreviations like FMR. I've played this game for ages and I've never ever _ever_ heard of that! :) If it was any good, I'm sure any of my guildies would've pointed me to it! |

Look at it as ice-cream. You have over a hundred different kinds of tastes of ice-cream, but they all started out with Vanilla Ice-cream before people started adding extra flavor to the Ice-Creams. The same goes for games usually, where as the first released game is the "Vanilla" of Ice-Creams, and the expansion packs released at later days are the extra flavored Ice-Creams :) |

I'm merely stating a newbie wont have any use for Firemageradio.com.
Posting sponsored links from friends within a newbie guide seems so pointless. Unless you want to make up Abbreviations for every single wow-related website out there. As I said: no1 I know has ever heard of the radiostation, so don't confuse people with useless info. Focus on in-game stuff instead. |
|
|
I use this very often, cause I like to listen to the music ( WoW-parodies from Sharm, Lihofication, Wick, CryKoda, HOYT, Instinctz, Krasus, Frezure, etc etc... ) I never said you SHOULD use it... I just think of it as a good radio, but as you wish... FMR has been deleted from the list! And the rest put on. |
