Hello,

I wondered if summoning undeads and demons is forbidden in the kingdom of Stormwind or not. Of what I heard about lore it should be forbidden but I'm not sure.

Anyone knows more about this ?

Generally I believe, the Alliance have accepted Death Knights into their ranks though this is no reason why they should have undead walking around happily. Summoned ghouls and gargoyles will be generally forbidden to be walking around with a Death Knight though the Death Knight is happily able to walk the streets.

Warlocks are a little more tricky. I believe it may still be illegal to be a warlock, and if it's not, it's still generally a 'hidden' path, and one which does not openly go around with demons and other pets unless they wish to face persecution. However you may need to check up on this more fully.

The Undead part is hard for me to awnser, I. as a DK, wouldnt want to be forbidden to use my awesome mount, but it is logical that it is forbidden, as it is dark unholy magic that defiles corpse.
The Demon part: Summoning demons is illegal according to me, seeing how the pre cata-event was to fight twilight cultists, that are pretty much demon worshippers, and that the Warlock trainer is in a hidden spot in stormwind, under a tavern, hiding.

Argh! I hate it when people mix up the little things. Twilight Cultists, are anybody. Your closest friend, family or worst bitter enemy. The Twilight Cultists are not affiliated with anybody from the Scourge or the Burning Legion. They are at best followers of Cho'gall, Deathwing and the Old Gods. They are not demon worshiphers although some can be. They have only one united aim as a group and that is the total utter destruction of Azeroth and rebirth from the ashes of said destruction.

So tell me, where in any of the quest lines did it say "demons"? Because it's really really not.

Demonology is illegal. If you are a warlock, hide it. Don't tell people about it.
Don't -EVER- summon up a demon i Stormwind or Goldshire or any other city! (Unless needed of course, if you're in danger you'll perhaps have to, I'm speaking of walking around with a fel guard and getting pissed when people tell you to leave).

Death Knights are allowed to walk the streets since they've died once for their Kingdom so deserve the freedom they died for.

Yes, death knights are allowed, but necromancy is forbidden no ? so summong that undead horse or a ghoul is forbidden, or not ?
