Keeping this short and simple. Would love to try and estimate the chance of getting the [Scepter of Azj'Aqir] as your next "schematic"

What I want :

For you to type in the following in your chat box ingame and tell me how many Tol'vir Artifacts you have completed. And if you got the Scepter yet, or not.

Did you get this legendary mount of awesomeness? If so please help me out and give me your Tol'vir count(Granted that you remember how many more you've done since getting the scepter). <em/>

So far I only have the epic ring, and solved almost 20 Tol'Vir commons. I can't face doing anymore right now because as much as I keep telling myself it'll be the next one, I know that my chances of getting this sweet mount are painfully low and am almost certain it'll be yet another bloody cat with emerald eyes.

85 Tol'Vir. Scepter.

52 Tolvir, No sceptre

13, None

Was extremely lucky with that one, had him on my second artifact.

73 - only ring and scarab so far

Need more dataz!

So where do I see how many I solved? Don't really save the grey ones.

click archeology, on right side of window you'll see a purple handle thingie. click it, select tol'vir from races list. Move mouse over items, it will show how many times you've completed it, count or use that macro.

For everyone that wants to find out the exact number of all you can use the goold ol'e macro.

Just be sure to open the "Completed Artifacts" tab and scrolls trough all the pages so they get cached before pressing the macro or it will only show how many you've done from when you logged in. (Least I think thats what it needs, sometimes just shows like 3-4 before I opened the tab and then it showed the right numbers.)

27 commons, 4 rares, scepter included.
note that 20 commons and 3 rares were found before the archaeology buff (3x3 fragments per site) and i'm pretty sure the drop rate of rares was higher at that time (3/6 first projects were in fact rares and it was a pain to gather 450 fragments for those 3 considering the rarity of Uldum site spawns).

Sitting at 95 solves,no scepter.

@Glycogen Doesn't matter to me whether you got it or not. I can the amount of artifacts youve solved without getting the scepter as well :)

I got 3 rares, 42 commons, no scepter.

Tol'vir 24: No Sceptre

Looking at this data collected wont give you the actual drop rate though because you will need to factor in the RNG + RNG , or basically the chance to get the Tol'vir dig site in the first instance.

The chance of getting a Tol'vir dig site is 14.29% (9/63) (source; http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/816099-Best-Places-for-Archaeology!)

Also, in most cases players appear to get the ring and scarab item first. Probably because they have a higher drop rate set but there may be another factor in which items you are most likely to get first. I suspect all the epic Tol'vir items except the ring and scarab item have the same low drop rate.

Interesting data though.

44 Tol'vir 3 rares (pendant, ring and Scepter )

Got the 2 first rares within my first 15, then had to wait until 44th solve for scepter
Combined with my Professor titel, I look real badass in orgrimmar :)
