As a matter of fact - When I do play my priest I choose not to use Chakra at all because of that sounds as if i'm stuck in Hearthing home while my network dropped...

When I logon and figuring out which healer I should take, I look at the priest and skip her because of the Chakra sound...

I love a good rant and from the "sound" of it, chakra is horrible...

But the problem is bigger than chakra. I haven't had sound for combat in ages. It's boring but then you forget it's even supposed to be a feature. Try turning on TV or music.

I also find the sound very annoying on my priest alt. Please remove the Sound Blizzard! /signed

Ok, it is about a year since the last post here and still this annoying sound is in game. I rarely play by my priest because of this sound. And I hate to hear this sound around AH or wherever in game. This sound is not healthy. I have reported this sound as a bug in game about two years ago. No reaction from blizz. WTF ???? !!!!!!! This driving me nuts !!!!!"

What sound ?

Inactivated chakra (liek before deciding in which one are you going) has the same buzzing sound as inner focus unused. It is quite annoying to have a priest with that on around - I had to whisper to a couple to consume the effect, as a lot of ppl dont play with sound on and don't realize it. And then there's the ones that think annoying strangers on the internet is cool and keep it on purpose. And I assume some like the graphic effect and just dont care about the ears of others.

It is a really annoying sound - but doesn't the new mechanic of activating it on the beta solve the issue? Coz you technically choose directly into which one you are going so there is no unconsumed effect.

Yes. Only the nice effect on going into certain chakra state is available atm :)

Ctrl+S = Turns on/off your sound effects.
Ctrl+M = Turns on/off your music.

How could you not listen to some of the coolest sound effects - tranq, DH, Heroism. I love that sounds, and once chakra activation was removed there is no flaw in that aspect of the spell. Inner focus effect cannot be removed, it cannot be better, because of the spell name (a focus, that's what the annoying sound represents).

Agreed. Extremely annoying when random priests turn it on in crowded places in major cities, then refuse to remove the effect for whatever reason.
One of the most irritating noises ingame.

I'm fine with it, as soon as a priest uses it near me or in a crowded place, I break out the Toy Train Set, set it next to them, then run! >:)

Yes! Remove it from Chakra!

But keep it on Inner Focus. Only disc priests should be able to annoy others :3
