Sargeras
|
We all know that Vamarithas was trying to summon Sargeras into the Undercity, but there seems to be no follow up to this. Will we ever see Sargeras in WoW, hopefully in the War of The Ancients raid :)
What are your thoughts on this? |

Well sargeras was already defeated and was sent back to the twisting nether but I would hope all the elemental lords help us defeat sargeras and kil'jaden!

The only way to defeat Sargeras would be by getting helped and buffed by the other titans themselves i suppose.
I have a strong feeling however that we will have to fight Archimonde again and Kil'jeadan in full form. What im also wondering. Many demons dont exactly die they get sent back to the Twisting Nether amirite? Who knows... Maybe this could mean that Illidan didnt exactly die completely but was banished, this could give a nice twist to fight Illidan by Kil'jeadan summoning him. Altouugh im not the best lore geek on this so dont flame me if im wrong. |

Actually, Tichondrius is the root of evil. Why? Well, the Nathrezim corrupted Sargeras and made him evil, and Tichondrius was their leader. The Illidan killed him, and we killed him...
So technically, who killed the guy who killed the root of all evil! That should make us ally with all the evil in this world, you know, a "My enemys enemy is my friend". Man, we're !#%#@#*s! |

As long as they don't make the players go rambo-mode and 10man steamroll Sargeras just like that. He's the most powerful Titan, the lord of the Burning Legion, if he was at full power and 10 mortals came along, he'd laugh and it'd make our heads explode.
No mortals would stand a chance of beating him 1 on 1, no dragons would 1 on 1. Mortals could be blessed all they bloody want they wouldn't beat him with a huge army if they tried. I think if all the titans went and got their armies of epic proportioned sizes and power and zerged the living *%%* out of him, Sargeras on his own would get beaten. But he wouldn't be on his own. He'd be all '' Come here mah evil armeh of dewm! Aidz meh in defeatin these foez >:|''. What would seem less lore-abusing is the titans do get together and raise an army, try and beat Sargeras and his army, a bunch of mages help teleport the players to the planet of epic size or wherever their fighting, and the players run around defeating generals/soldiers, while the Titans deal with Sargeras. In the end the players help the Titan forces beat the Burning Legion, and its a massive zergfest too Sargeras, he dies, we get his epic loot. And for christs sake hope they give him his own model unlike Archimonde and the upper-half-of-an-eredar-model Kil Jaeden. Edit: typo D: |

Well, depending on which account of WoTA we undertake in The Caverns of Time, we could fight Sargeras.
Or rather, smash the living !!@# out of the wound is his leg that Brox made :3 |

I don't think we can kill Sargeras , he is really god like , he is a 1 man army.
But I hope we will meet Kil'jaeden at his own citadel (probably never happen because that might be also the Burning legions main base), I also hope for return of all powerful demons like Archimonde , Tichondrius. |
Lich King was a one man army. Ragnaros is a one man army. Deathwing is a one man army. for god sakes man, we even farm Old Gods. That aside, did Varimathras try to summon Sargeras? I thought it was Kil´jaeden. And i saw someone claiming we killed Kil´jaeden. Nope, we banished him back through his lil portal. And i do believe Archimonde is dead, but i dont see why Sargeras wont just ress him. I mean, i get ressed 5 times a day in WOW. |
That's one specific type of demons, the Dreadlords or Nathrezim. |
The Naztherim didn't corrupt Sargeras though, he just grew depressed that no matter how hard he tried there were still always more Demons causing havoc around the world. |

He wasn't summoning Sargeras, he was summoning in a demonic army. It is essentially impossible to summon Sargeras. It took the combined power of the Well of Eternity and the Dragon Soul to open the only portal that could suffer his immense power.
He was communing with Sargeras. |
Gameplay mechanics and lore don't always mix well...
Sargeras is a Titan, we have no proof that Titans are immortal thus its fair to argue that Sargeras is killable and since he isn't a original-demon he stays dead.
All original demons when they are killed return to the Twisted Nether where they can reform their bodies and return, like Lilyallen said we know that this is the case with the Nathrezim, although lore is not specific as to if this applies to non-original-demons. With sufficient exposure to fel magic any race can become a demonic race and in fact large portions of the Burning Legion are made up of corrupted races with only a few actual demonic races. Illidan for example was a demon but not originally a demon, so the lore doesn't specifically state if it is possible for him to return or not. |
A bit like a fighter-jet with nuclear warheads helping you kill a hamster in a wheelchair. |
