I was wondering, our realm is really dead pvp-wise? Recently Blizzard introduced Rated BG's, i've seen no one interested in such a thing. How come? On ally side we have a PVP based guild. But they seem to cba with Rated BG's. How come? Why u set up a pvp guild only for arenas? It should b about premades, rbg's too. U know, rated bg's give some nice rewards too, titles, T2 weps. I know it's hard to mantain and coordinate a group of ten ppl when comes to PVP. At least harder that coordinating a team of dragonslayers when comes to PVE. But still don't tell me we can't do it..

I wanted to ask u guys a question: Why not rated bg's? There's something new, nice rewards..etc

I refuse to believe everyone on our realm is a dragonslayer. Dragonslaying now sucks.. at least compared to TBC and u all know it ( decent and TBC pro pve-ers ).

PS: Yeah i QQ about the actual state of BDF pvp.

I guess more people are just waking up from their blizzard hyped pvp sleep and realising how embarresing and bad its really is :)

Im not sure if its been fixed in last weeks patch but since the release of rated battlegrounds there was a bug when you won, it actually counted as a loss and that put alot of people off including myself, its a shame though we are in the second most active battlegroup for rated battlegrounds but our realm doesnt want a slice of the pie :(

btw we are recruiting for rated bgs (horde side) so /w me or any member in <call my thunder bluff> (level 85) for more info or an inv

According to arenajunkies, those problems were fixed.
Anastasia, mass move to alliance, queques are better and we can help each other :P

As for battlegroups I do believe all european servers are merged into one single gargantuan battlegroup at least for battlegrounds. The old battlegroups still hold true for the arena brackets though.
The reason we've been lying low is more likely because the 15 man brackets have been widely unpopular, so whenever you actually DID manage to set up a group, the queues were pretty long. The change to 10 man only makes it far easier to group up and get going fast. Just like arena.

I presume u have many ppl wanting to que. How do you do? rotation every night? Or you have a core group only for rbgs?

There's actually not a huge interest in some people :)

We usually just about get 10 every-night, But who knows, we've only started monday so more interest might pick up.

Rated 10 is actually really good fun. And as said we started to pick it up now as a guild.

10Mans is a lot easier to balance classes into, also the battlegrounds are great. Who wants to chaise go-karts in a battleground really?


In general i think most people dislike Rated bgs becasue it was hard to setup a group and 10/15 switching weeks instat of giving people the posiblity to queue whatever they wished to do. Put on top the bugs and flaws it had and there was a good reason not to play it.

People are too busy killing the new scripted dragons because they like purple more than they like blue.

The risk of getting a real fight versus opponents who actually try, is scaring people away.

Rocksmasher don't you think Infernal and CMTB could work something out together? I still remember obliterating some familiar BDF horde faces in a match, I don't think it was any of you guys though.

Who are we to judge dragonslayers ? But still.. it takes skill to tank a scripted mob and the rest just dps/heal avoiding the infamous "don't stay in the bloody green thing!!!!".

PvE is a lot harder than pvp, we kill dargons with 100million hp and u kill players with 100k?
