Balance of Judgement is a friendly, relaxed, casual raiding guild that has been on Darkmoon Faire for over 4 years, and which is now looking for some pleasant, competent players to add to its ranks.

The guild consists mainly of UK and Dutch players (with a sprinkling of other nations) and is a mature one, with many in their 30s and 40s, several couples, and many with young children (so we are sensitive to the demands of balancing raiding and kids!).

The guild's ethos is based on tolerance and respect for other players, and raiding in a pleasant, enjoyable atmosphere. Boasting, swearing and insulting others is not tolerated.

We are currently 8/8 in Dragon Soul 10-man normal, and have just made a start on 10-man heroic.

Raiding times are generally 8.30pm to 11pm game time, and the days may vary each week (typically there will always be raids on Wednesday and Sunday, with another 1-2 on either Thursday, Friday, Monday and/or Tuesday). There is no minimum attendance requirement or pressure to sign up, and the Raid Leaders strive to give all guildies a fair turn at raid spots.

It would appear a slight bump is necessary. Also, just to be clear, we're an Alliance guild.

Regarding recruitment, for our raiding team we're primarily looking for a few more healers and a tank or two. Pleasant, mature people, preferred.

If you aren't a healer or tank (or don't feel like being one), don't panic. If you're looking for a place to enjoy your fun and relaxed evenings of gaming, you'll probably fit right in.

We're still looking for a Healing Priest and or a Healing Shaman with a DPS of spec. Most other specs are covered for now, however we will always consider applications from the right people whether for raiding or just casual gaming.

You said your raiding days are usually centered around the weekend so if I'm working Thu-Sun 2pm-1am and the only days I could raid are Mon-Wed, that probably won't work, right?

Hi Kalyani - well, they're centred around but not exclusive to the weekends. Looking back over past months, in a typical month we might have had, say, 8-10 raids on Thursdays to Sundays, and 3-4 on Mondays to Wednesdays, so there is some activity on those days, just not quite as much. :)

As Orgone says our raiding times are not set in stone and we are currently looking at raiding on Sun to Tues nights. The next raids are planned for those nights and there is a website poll running at the moment for the members to tell us which they prefer weekdays or weekends. Time wise we would usually run from 9pm game time to 11pm game time, sometimes this runs to 12am but very rarely as we all work and need our beauty sleep.

What is your policy on / towards roleplay?

Hey Lorren,

Whilst the guild is not specifically a roleplay guild, many members are roleplayers and we do our very best to respect all server rules and policies regarding roleplaying.

I myself am a roleplayer and find this a pretty awesome, tolerant and generally wonderful guild to be in.
