Grumpy Old Swedes är en svensk PvE guild på servern Bladefist som har funnits i ungefär 5 år. Vi är på 6/7 normal i Tier 12 och tog 1/13 HC i Tier 11. Vi märker också att vi behöver fylla på guildet med raidsugna spelare för att gå vidare till 25M.

Vi söker alla klasser för att ta oss vidare till 25manna!

Nyheter: Vi söker nu också duktiga spelare för att dominera rated battlegrounds också! Våran pvp-avdelning är relativt nyskapad och här söker vi inte bara spelare utan också en RBG-leader som har tiden, intresset och drivet att göra våran pvp-avdelning till en framgånsrik gren av Grumpy old Swedes.

Sociala spelare eftertraktas också. Av alla spelare i Grumpy old Swedes är vi en minoritet som faktiskt raidar och spelar RBG. Vi är i första hand ett gäng som bara spelar ett spel ihop och snackar skit på teamspeak.

Vi letar efter dig som:

-Förstår svenska
-Är 18 år eller äldre, ju äldre desto bättre
-lvl 85 och har suget att spela, gearet kommer senare.
-Teamspeak och en FUNGERANDE mic eftersom vi gärna vill höra din förtjusande röst

Vi består mest av skiftarbetare, småbarnsföräldrar och andra som inte kan eller orkar ta raidandet på största allvar. Vi spelar de bossar vi kan och när vi kan, allt för att ha kul tillsammans. Gemenskapen är det viktigaste för GOS. Så för den som söker så är det viktigare att ha rätt inställning till spelandet än ett vackert CV.

News: We'r also now searching for players intrested in RBG. Our PVP-section is relativly new but we'r not only looking for players to join our ranks. We'r also looking for a RBG-leader with the time, interest and dedication to make Grumpy old Swedes a big name in the world of PVP.

Social players is always welcome. Of all the players in Grumpy old Swedes, the raiders and the PVPers are in a minority. Grumpy old Swedes is mainly just a bunch of people playing and enjoying the a game while talking trash about each other over teamspeak.


The requirements are:

-You need to be able to understand swedish
-18 years or above, the older and grumpier the better.
-lvl 85 and willing to raid, gear comes eventually.
-Teamspeak and a WORKING mic as we would like to hear your beautiful voice

We'r no serious hardcoreguild (our progress might give that away)
We made up mostly of shift workers, parents and others who can't nor have the energy to raid seriously. We play the bosses we can and when we can, all for the fun together. The Community is the most important part GOS. So for those intrested in applying it is more important to have the right attitude to gaming than a pretty resume. Vi lider fortfarande av enorm healerbrist. Detta gör att våran progress stannat av. Klart det finns healers där ute som är sugna på en social och kul guild..

Nu är vi 9/12 och fick ett par riktigt bra försök på cho'gall. snart går även han ner och då är vi 10/12

We got this paladin in the guild, named Thulghard. We never did find any good use of him, you guys be interested in taking him in?

Bump

After a few weeks of slacky progressing we have downed Cho'gall and made it to phase 3 on Al'akir. Should see kills there soon enough.

Bump again.

Still searching for everything.
We would love to see as manny healers as possible it would be like a wet dream :D

Healershortage is still hurting our progress, with 2-3 canceled raids/week. Cho'gall is considered farmboss right now since he's a cakewalk as long as people can avoid shadow crashes. Al'akir is in phase 3 and with a solid progressevening he'll also be conquered. We need backup!

And right there we have it. Al'Akir downed like a boss.

Now all we need is some healers and nefarian is doomed.

Nefarian in p3 at ~30%

Should see a kill tomorrow or possibly next week if we can't find the healers.

Nefarian at 2.5%

If we could find some healers to avoid raiders using offspec in progress raids it would be a different story. Still in urgent need of healers!
