I recently bought a second hd6850 to enable a crossfire. To my amazement my fps went down in wow rather than staying the same or going up. Not only that, but in raids they actually go as down as 20 fps really making the game feel as lagy. The settings in game are all set to good, except distance which on ultra.
Has anyone else had the same problem? I would really appreciate any kind of help here.

WoW does NOT support Crossfire or SLI.
Multiple GPU solutions like this will not do anything but lower WoW's performance, this has been reported many times before. WoW was simply never coded with more than one GPU in mind. Even multi-core CPU's is a bit of a hack.
Disable Crossfire when you play WoW. There is no way to increase performance for WoW under Crossfire. You will get the best performance using only a single GPU.

There is not official support for Crossfire of SLI, it may function but there is no guarantee that there will be much if any improvement.
If you do use a Crossfire check to see you have the latest Crossfire profiles installed.
