JIW are currently recruiting Resto Shaman, Resto Druids, Enhancement Shaman and Warlocks of any spec
The JIW Ethos World of Warcraft is a game and our main aim is to ensure that it is always fun and challenging without breaking up families, losing jobs or forgetting to attend to basic bodily needs like eating, drinking, sleeping or going for a wee. That said, silly wipes are not fun but nor is a military regime and we think we've found the perfect balance. We have cleared all WotLK 25 man content barring a LK 25 man HM. We are currently 1/7 Heroic Firelands. We raid Wednesday, Thursday, Monday with a Tuesday night 10 man to finish off any bosses left, raids are at 21.00 server time and they end 00.00 server time. Basic Requirements » All members must be available to raid at least 2 of the 3 raid nights mentioned above, with 100% raid calendar registration i.e. you must register as available or unavailable for every raid night posted » Experience is nice but Skills and knowledge of how to play your class are more important. » Solid connection and hardware » Solid understanding of the English language both written and spoken. If you fail to meet one of the last 4 of the above criteria then your chances of success are reduced, however exceptions are made for applicants that have good skills. However, if you fail to meet the first criteria on the above list then your application will be turned down. What we expect » You should share our desire to progress. » You should think of the guild before you think of yourself. » Always bring your A-game, even if we're farming Naxx » You should be able to accept criticism. » Long term commitment to the guild. » Swearing should not offend you! What we offer » A guild of mature players with an average player age of somewhere in the 30s (or more! *cough*). » A very stable Raid Enviroment, which has existed since January 2007. » Solid leadership and therefore solid progress. » Fair loot distribution - even trialists get to roll on loot! » A fun and sociable enviroment with ~ 40 active guild members » Membership of what I believe to be the best and longest raiding guild on the BDF server. What we don't have » A 16 yr old Raid Leader screaming blue murder on Vent when we wipe » A cool tabard - I mean we have a tabard, I like it but others?.../wibble... » A hard-core raiding schedule How to Apply Visit http://jiw-guild.enjin.com/ to post your app or alternatively, if you wish your application to be recieved in private, please paste the application form into an email, complete it and send to: jadeisland@ymail.com New members will be subject to a two week trial period where our officers will assess your skills. If you can't muster enough dps or keep dying to void-zones/blue !*#!/green !*#! or other such random raid damage then your trial period may be extended or your trial may be terminated and you will be released from the guild. Note: The JIW leadership reserves the right to fail trialists at any point for any transgression over and above those listed in the requirements above e.g. attitude provoking disharmony in the guild, immaturity, barrens trade chat etc etc. |
