Topic [A-RP] The Kaldorei of the Moonrise Hermitage

Though many Kaldorei are solitary in nature, they know that the lone wolf is a beast doomed to die. Strength in unity. Unity through faith. This has always been our way. That is how we repelled the Burning Legion twice. That is how we endured the Long Vigil, and fulfilled our Duty for ten millennia.
The Moonrise Hermitage began as a secluded Sisterhood cloister, where Sisters that had suffered injury of body or mind – trauma or loss - could come for rest, healing, tranquility, in a place where this unity was emphasized. Meditation, the purity of the hunt, seeing nature in work in deep communion with the Sisters and the Goddess… this was life at the Hermitage for the first seven thousand years of its existence.
Then came the Burning Legion again. The sanctity of Ashenvale disturbed by alien invaders, both Demons and Orcs, the Kaldorei people reel from this unrelenting assault on their ancient ways of life. To help the many wounded and destitute, the Sisterhood at the Hermitage opened their doors. They provide healing, guidance and protection, without asking anything in return.
This philosophy, seeing the unity and well-being of the Kaldorei and the Goddess’ Garden as the sole purpose and its own reward, has inspired many of the refugees and mourners in the Hermitage’s care to remain and help others, as they themselves were shown kindness and kinship in their darkest hour.
Offering their crafts and skills in solidarity with their sisters and brothers, the Kaldorei at the Hermitage come from all stretches of the road of life. Elders sit in the tranquil boughs, sharing their hard-won wisdom and the experience of ages with younglings who have lost friends, families and more. Children play amidst the flowers, each caring for the younger, all learning the ways of the Hunt from the adults. Healers caring for the wounded, druids tending the twilight groves of Ashenvale. Warriors, always too few, form a contingent to safeguard their kin and the lands they hold sacred.
No matter what wounds or sorrows they seek relief from, or how they found their way here, to all of us, the Moonrise Hermitage is a symbol, an icon and a message of hope that alights the darkest night as does the Moon herself: By the Goddess’ grace, there is sanctuary still in a war-torn world.

The Moonrise Hermitage focuses on the civilian aspect of Kaldorei life. But as a Kaldorei that doesn't mean we are defenceless. The until recently immortal Kaldorei always are aware of their duties and they know what to do when battle is joined. We are a Nightelf roleplay guild, as such we don't take in other races. We do lend our aid to other races as the need arises. We even helped the Tauren at times and they helped us in turn with rituals and events.
As a Kaldorei roleplay guild we are a part of the Kalimdor Project. As such, we are part of something far greater then just our guild. Within the project we all have our part and we all work together. On the forums the topics of interest are discussed and notices left behind for those who were not present in game at the time. There are regular events and meetings.
The plots that run within the Hermitage take their time and progress at a slower pace. They usually resolve around the Forests of Ashenvale and the continent of Kalimdor. When the need is there we also go to visit the other continents where we often seek help from the local roleplay guilds there. In battle the Moonrsie usually tends to the wounded and protects the rear, where our healers and druids are usually best at work.
Aleriah is the grovekeeper who listens to everyone and speaks on behalf of the Moonrise Hermitage.
Arlièn, Emesh and Hawthórn are the Keepers who tend to the duties of the druids and the brothers and sisters of the Moonrise Hermitage. Together they see to the training of the Thero'shan, the needs of the forest and the duties of the Kaldorei. There are many Druids in the Hermitage that have their rituals and prayers.
Drakahn is the leader of the guard, he trains the warriors and militia who protect the members of the Moonrise Hermitage. Together with the Sentinels of the Ashenleaf they try to reclaim the forest.

Get rid of the lesser races and I will bow before this great guild... Not bow, rather lower my head... Well, nod....
*Sighs* Fine! I will blink at you once, in a casual manner, just don't push your luck!
Great guild and one true to the Kaldorei race!
We're still going strong, even if we may not be as loud as the neighbours ;-) We just had a big update on our information and the AA page has a brand new look! Go have a look:
(The banners should be updated soon(tm) as well)
