Why is this server so far behind!, Charlie Foxtrot are the only ones that even make an impression on this server!
Pugs are terrible here it makes me laugh, *oh no dps died! /leave* ?????

Once upon a time we were a bit behind, so everyone left, and now we're a lot behind. I can't imagine you've been on the server long because this comes up in Trade several times an hour? It's always been the case, but y'know. Yawn.

I think the real problem on the server is people using 5 question marks.

Well, for those who actually want heroic Pve progress in 10 man, Aftershock are recruiting those with impressive Pve experience..

Personally i believe the progress is horrible because WOWTLK made everyone bad with the simple boss mechanics and the lack of awareness needed to clear a full raid!

well one big reason why only one guild is making the progression..
Blizzard was so kind to give us a punishing system for leaving a guild. players dont switch a guild to look for beter guilds.
most humans are FOLOW THE HURD humans. ow the rest is in charly foxtrot so lets all join that guild ( and get placed in a team that will not progress like the first team they had that has the progression they have now)
and most players on our realm are also playing to gain out of it for them self instead of gaining out of it for a team.
you find more Team players, you'll find more guilds that will progress..
you find more Team members, youll find more players that dont QQ after you just wiped.
you find more Team players, members, Friends in this game in to your guild, you will get players who help each other progress and get better. and teach each other...

PUG's ? if your on TS, Vent, Skype or what ever communicating system you use, and you have a member who died for a dumb reason... they teas the Creack out of him LoLing very loud.. making this person feel bad about his playing style.. and not one will think in helping him to gain a beter playing style... instandly kicked out of groups cause in previos expencions PVP gear could be a beter option then pve, yet no one explains why its not any more, and no one will offer this person help in gaining a beter solution Gearwise

This Realm doesnt lack Progression...
This realm lacks Personality, compasion, and Patience

It's silly to say only one guild is making progress. Looking at realm rankings, Inglorius and Hex at least are also doing quite nicely. What's more, guildox shows us to have 76 guilds that have killed at least one boss - all of these guilds are or have made progression. I know my guild might not be making Paragon worried but we're making progress at our speed and our terms. (And personally I'm not that interested in HM progression - I want to learn new bosses, not the same ones only more tightly tuned with an additional mechanic and super strict raid comp requirements. Give me Firelands already!)

As for the lack of pugs, I'd say that by now that's more to do with shared raid locks than lack of capable players. I used to pug ICC a lot and even arrange quite a few pugs, now there's no point as both my raiding toons will be saved on guild raids and our alt raids.

The only question anyone should ask is if they're in a guild that suits their level of skilll and time available and is fun to be in. If you have that, what the rest of the server is like doesn't matter.

I'm doing the recruiting for my guild and I've recently run into a lot of people who had transferred off Saurfang to raid in some high-progression guild, found it too stressful or whatever, and have now transferred back having realised they like this server better after all.

If you find the pugs or guilds are bad... well, make your own. My respect to CF for arranging 25 man alt runs now, hopefully that will allow some new players to learn the fights and take that to their guilds.

Excuse me? Simply you think that there are so many better guilds but guys here won't leave because of guild reputation / perks? Just wrong.

First thing is that misspelling is considered rude. Secondly, you again show you have no idea what Charlie Foxtrot is like. New players who are on trial rank are not "placed" anywhere. We're not some "huge gaming community" created and ruled by anonymous guys from nowhere. Guys apply because they want to be part of guild which is simply good. Those mentioned by you leave because it's not what they expected. It is not like PvE progression is granted and served here. We actually work towards our kills, happen to wipe on normal modes and have fun from our game.
Also, Charlie Foxtrot runs no better and worse teams, so we don't "place" new guys anywhere. We run 25-man man guild with single 25-man progression team with currently 4/13 HMs downed. 10-man team is independent, group of ppl who joined us after leaving guild Out of Range. Group is sealed, progressing on it's own and recruiting on it's own.
Shortly, thank you for giving me chance to clear this up, so now everyone who applies knows that he is treated with respect and if his application passes, he will join 25-man team as trial raider.
Gossip is bad thing to repeat m8. Also you are contradicting yourself. You just said "players don't switch a guild to look for beter guilds". But they do. Check CF application subforum.

Oh look. That's how it goes here in Charlie Foxtrot. Some ppl have actually thought about creating Team long time ago :)

Join our alt / pug 25-man runs every friday at 2000H realm time! On just second run we cleared 5/6 BWD and 2/4 BoT. Enjoy some srs raiding in great atmosphere!

This realm has very much personality. I play on it from very, very start.
As for compassion, I'm sure you have lots after this little flame wall about my guild.
Patience is thing that whole gaming community lacks and WoW is no exception. Saurfang is no exception as well. Complaining is pointless.

This realm needs:
- Good leaders, who are neutral, just and even if not perfect - doing their best for guild they lead. Guys who can motivate, who are patient and willing to improve.
- Players who follow leaders but point out mistakes and give their own ideas.
- Guilds with just rules, where loot is not given to GM's GF or ppl who put zilion stacks of %**! in guild bank, but those who attend, perform and along with rest of the team: win.
- After having all of above - this realm needs multiple 25-man raiding guilds. Because the current problem is that most raiding ones are sealed or they need 1-2 ppl of certain classes they lack to beat some encounter.
Also, this realm needs less hatred. Somehow (might be wrong tho) I find frustration in your post like someone (or maybe even not one) from your guild applied to CF.

Also we can help you in many ways like tactics, sorting gear for class / spec or even raid leading to show and explain tactics live.

Saurfang has never been a super-progression realm, but it still aint bad. Move to somewhere like Silvermoon and the like if you want 13/13 HC progression.

More people to server = better average raiding progression, but does people want more people here?

Hey hey, dont get me wrong... you guys are doing great.. and what you do for the whole community of our server is also great. (Pug 25 man runs)

what im saying is. looking at how players react on our server when it comes to making a choice to stick to a guild or not. they are bound to stay with their guild cause of the guild perks and reputation that came in. or they will lose that.

when they Leave a guild.. why join a Growing guid who might post out Potential.
why not go to that where every one is going cause they feel like only one place will give them the progress..

and yes you guys are getting there with progress :D
you guys are working as a team too, or you wouldnt have gotten there.
nice progress with a pug getting those 6 bosses... ( we down 8 in 2,5 hours though in one day, and then call it for the rest of the week on our mains, called farming for gear befor we start progressing)

my point is. joining the Best isnt always the best. cause of a lot of things that have been added the best will end where the most are cause of more options.

dont have to look at cf aplications btw.. cause ours is filled a bit to much it self.
only problem is that we dont accept below 18+ so i decline a lot.. sorry.. but yes the rest can have the kids on the server, not here to baby sit :P

your statement on what this Realm needs is correct too.. its not so much of a difrence from what i said, sorry that my english isnt my native language, so explaining will be harder.

but no thanx. we came to EU cause latency for some EU players was to bad on US server..
Xen of onslaughts current Progress on US server is 6/13 H (sargaras US servers 1st) we can get all the info we need out of our own community.

we will wait and look how Saurfang grows or shrinks.

I see many ppl who come here to say the server dont have progress usually are the ones who aren't contributing for a server improvement.

About if our server is going good or bad, imo could be better than it actually is. Now the truth is that our server simply can't keep good players, most of them usually migrate to other higher progressed servers. Cata content is imo extremely hard for casual type of players so u won't see pugs running like on end of wotlk, all fights requires ppl knowing the fight and their classes. Other huge factor is that this server runs mostly on 10man raiding apart from some exceptions, wich makes the progress on Hcs pretty hard since u got a lower % of ending a boss by losing some1 for specific skill... lack some classes/specs cds or roles into a fight to make it easier... Sometimes we wish to bring an extra tank or healer but we cant simply afford it. And since most of guilds running 10man its quite common u see most of them stucked at 1/13hc. (apart from Alakyr and council wich might be harder on 25m).

We don't have any serious hardcore raiding doing 5-6 raids per week or so. Like many of those realms have. We lack solid raiding teams.. i see guilds changing their main guildraiders during a content over and over again. Out of range (CF dedicated 10man) i bet their most success on progressing comes from being a solid group that started since cata released and their progress is quite common for a project that they planned pretty early. You dont need the best players a lot of times just time and a solid group with the same goal.
