its my last attempt before letting it go.....what is wrong?can anyone have a look at my stats?my rotation is starsurge moonfire IS -->wrath (keeping dots up and sf whenever eclipse procs and starsurge whenever available),till im getting under 13k dps on dummies (9-11k).WHAT is wrong?id really apreciate help.

Well something is definitely wrong as I can get that and I'm reforged and gemmed for resto. And much worse geared than you. My rotation was slightly different - IS mf ss stafire-wrath. On all boss fights starfall and trees as soon as off cooldown (or at a useful point). SS every time it procs as well.
Our talents differ as well. I took moonglow and not owlkin frenzy and gale winds, as of I saw as a levelling talent, and gale winds I found weak as Typhoon is very situational and Hurricane nearly useless especially compared with Mushrooms. Lunar shower is also definitely a dps increase, while dreamstate is a personal choice I suppose. I didn't take Fungal growth either as I thought that was a levelling talent. Our talents in other trees also differ slightly...Blessing of the grove is probably better than 3 points in furor especially given your gear. Your glyphs seem ok, although I wouldn't take Focus myself because I don't want to reduce its utility. What has actually improved me a lot (although admittedly for healing) is Rawr. I downloaded it and plugged myself in and did what it said and my healing improved. It might just be you haven't reforged quite right or something, that you have to take an overview of and so it looks fine on each individual piece. I hope that helps a little bit! |

I can't see your gear set at the moment, but i can give you pointer about your glyphs and spec at the moment.
for core glyphs use Glyph of Insect Swarm - core throughput glyph Glyph of Moonfire - core throughput glyph Glyph of Starfall - core throughput glyph Glyph of Rebirth - all raid Battle Res should be 100%, no questions. after that it can be switched about, Glyph of Starfire, Glyph of Starsurge, Glyph of Wrath all are solid 3rd Prime glyphs. If you dont have the T11 4 set bonus Glyph of Starsurge is your best bet, once you get the t11 4 set glyph usage depends on the encounter your doing. i generally do this Starfire: Chimaeron, Atrimedes, Maloriak, Nefarian, Ascendant Council, Cho’gall, Conclave Starsurge: Magmaw, Omnitron, Halfus, Valiona & Theralion, Al’akir For your spec, you need to have Lunar shower, its a dps increase, you are nearly always going to be moving in fights. you can mess about a bit then. i dont have points in owlkin frenzy as i dont see much point to it, i shouldnt be taking any damage :p thats about all i can say with out seeing your gear. your rotation can change greatly dpending whether you have the t11 4set or not. I dont view myself as an expert on the spec so if you think something else is better go for it whisp me in game if you have any questions :) |
