Whats your gear??
|
|
so there already is a nice "show your pc spec" thread but i want to know what gear you guys and girls use????
keyboard? mouse? headset? you name it!!! put a bit of a review in there while your at it and tell us why you choose your gear. so my gear: - Logitech G13, this baby is ideal for wow in my opinion because it allows me to use all my macro's and key-binds way easier. - Logitech G510, again bought it mostly for the extra macro keys and because the keys have nice led's under them so i can see everything even when its dark. - Logitech G500, bought this mouse because i had it with my old standard mouse... the response and weight are adjustable which is just perfect for me and it feels nice to hold. -Logitech G930, bought this head phone when my old one broke, feels good on the head (nice and comfy), has Dolby emulation and most important its wireless. funny thing is when i ordered this one i actually ordered its cheaper wired little brother but the shop sended me this one instead.... sssh dont tell them wel thats what i have atm, i know its all logitech but what can i say..... its best stuff i found that got closest to my demands. so now i want to hear what you guys have and why its so great for you!!! |

Whoa, a lot of Logitech
Keyboard: Some random Acer keyboard that came with my old computer Mouse: Logitech G9 (godly mouse is godly) Headset: Plantronics Gamecom something GAMING CHAIR (important!): Some old round-ish white chair that moves around. <3 |
|
Keyboard: an old backlit keysonic keyboard.
Mouse: Logitech g700 head...phones/set: Steel series earbuds with a logitech desktop mic. I'll talk about the mouse: It has about 13 buttons. To get it working in warcraft you have to use the logitech software to bind a keyboard key to them though (such as a function key like f6 f7 f8, or insert, home, pageup page down). It is nice and sensitive and can be easily customised to the level of sensitivity you desire. It is modular wireless. Depending on the polling rate you set it to, it can run on the battery within for about a day or more. You can plug the cable into the front of the mouse and it'll charge up and send data over it instead and it does this on the fly with no rebooting or downtime. The scroll wheel can be toggled so that it rolls freely, or clicks with a mechanical button just behind it. It's fairly comfortable to use, although i still get some RSI issues with it. I miss my old trackball mouse that i have been using for the previous 5 years, but it hasnt got enough buttons despite it's huge size! I've had it for 6 months and it feels sturdy enough. It had best last a good few years as the price is about £50-£60 at the cheapest. |

Keyboard: Razer Lycosa. A well made no thrills keyboard which glows blue! All the keys are in the right areas for my desk, without any silly macro buttons which would notmally get in my way.
Mouse: Razer Naga (Molten Edition). Totally changed the way I play and upped my DPS by a few K as I could increase my response times to spells comming off CD. Mouse Mat: Razer Vespula. Because I have more money than sense! An over the top mouse surface but provides great response time in conjunction with the Naga. Also rocking some Skullcandy headphones. |
|
Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder X4, probably one of the best i used to date. No Ghosting on keys(i can press all keys at the same time w/o the keys gets lockout) 6 macro keys with 3 banks.
Mouse: Razer Naga (Normal) had an Logitech G5v2 before but it suddenly died on me so bought an Naga to try it out and it works great, the high DPI (5600) makes me go even lower on the sensitivity and still it moves like an oiled hamster in a wheel its blazing fast and precise Mouse Pad: SteelSeries fNatic edition 40x45cm, this pad is freaking hugh and i like it that way. theres no way you will ever slip the mouse of the pad if you do your clearly doing something wrong :P |

Keyboard - Built into my laptop (Sony VIAO F-series), but it's a beauty!
Mouse: Roccat Kone. I'd never heard of these guys until my Microsoft Habu (Basically a Razer Copperhead) died - they're a German gaming peripheral company and I swear that this mouse is 10x better than my previous one. Mat: Steelseries hard plastic Headset: Cheap and nasty Logitech one |

Keyboard: 4 Year old G15 original model. (Cant fault it, so cant replace it)
Mouse: 1 Year old Razor Copper head. Head set: Gamescom 5.1 quality (Cheap, but its rare i use a head set for gaming as i don't raid) |

Keyboard: It cost £5 from Dixons.
Mouse: Some kind of Compaq mouse by the looks of it. It has a red shiny thing on the bottom. Laser! thats the word. Headset - None. A decent pair of Wharfdale headphones and a cheap mic suffice for me. Tbh, I'd like a better mouse, but I doubt I'll ever bother with a fancy keyboard. I've trashed 3 in the past by spilling tea or beer over them. Unless those Logitech keyboards are waterproof, in which case I'd be tempted. |
