Who we are

Monsters Inc. was formed on 17th January 2007 with the initial aim of clearing content at a casual level. This soon changed with the recruitment of very good players, many of whom are still here today. Monsters Inc. became the number one guild on the server in the Burning Crusade, with all Sunwell server firsts (except Brutallus) pre-nerf. During WOTLK Monsters Inc. stormed through with the three initial Realm First! kills of Naxx/EoE and OS.

The guild fell into hardship during the progression of Ulduar hardmodes and several of the core players who pushed the guild through Sunwell casualled out. The guild eventually disbanded, however the officer core kept in touch. With the news that Cataclysm was to bring equal 10 and 25 man raids the decision was made to reform the guild.

As Cataclysm started Monsters Inc. began raiding as a 10 man guild, this soon changed as old members rejoined and fresh blood entered the fray. The guild has now been reformed with a focus to become the number one guild on Dragonblight once again.

What we offer

Monsters Inc. boasts a strong officer core who have led the guild through TBC and are still here today. We believe that having fun in raids is the genuine number one priority, which we achieve by playing hard and completing content at a fast rate. Many players have raided at a very high for a long time, from Vanilla to Cataclysm.

In raids we use loot council system, with loot awarded fairly by the officer team based upon attendance, role and performance. The aim of the system is to promote competition and loyalty to the guild and boost teamwork. Loot is a tool and not a reward.

What we are looking for

Players that are not only on top of their game, but have a genuine interest in pushing themselves. An understanding of raid encounters and a history of endgame/heroic mode raiding is a bonus.

A microphone is an essential piece of kit, if you play a role that demands communication you will be expected to have one. It is also a great way to socialise with members of the guild on Mumble.

Able to take criticism, it is in yours and the guilds interest that you are able to take criticism and learn from it. Making the same mistakes over and over again slows everyone down.

If your class or spec is not listed above then it is considered full, however please feel free to apply if you feel that you are exceptional enough for us to take you on.

Al'Akir 10 hc went down last night, 1% wipe on Nefarian hc last reset
