I think 99.99% of players agree that Seasonal winds talent is pathethic in it's current state. Please change that talent... it's utility is almost zero in it's current state.
2. Enhancement gets owned by any meele ingame, and I am not begging for a shield wall ability or w/e, no... just 2 things : - make maelstrom stack when taking damage (not just dealing it) at a lesser % than dealing damage - make mana cost for heals (for enhancement only!) cost less mana, or when you shamanistic rage the heals are either free or cost 50% less mana. 3. Enhacement either has 3 windfury's proc for insane damage or don't... it's pure RNG, which in high rating arenas is nasty... close to useless, because you need burst on demand ... not on /praying for a WF proc. Searing flames don't stacks via absorbs, which means less lava lash damage. Combining all of these you get this : you can pray for some WF procs and random damage output , but usually you just end up beeing the worst meele ingame. Damage is too RNG, defensive vs meele is weak... extremely weak. While enhance is based on beeing utility for groundings, snares, purge and interrupts... you still need to DO damage, rather than pray for procs. I think that you, blizzard, wanted to remove RNG's from the game. Well enhancement has some issues there, big ones. If either wolves are buffed to more damage / procs / heal or shamanistinc enables you to heal for more / more often and damage isn't this much RNG, I personally think that enhance will be in a good place. While WF is meant to be a nice utility ability to burn down people, you should not have to rely on it to actually get a kill. Maelstrom's proccing from taking damage might resolve alot of problems also, at a lower % of proccing than on doing damage , enhance might be in a better spot than is now. Besides, we stack maelstrom for 3 reasons : hex , heals, lighting damage. Well, we have it for 2/3 : hex and heals, and that if we can do some meele damage, but if we are forced to kite... we can't hardcast it, no good meele will ever let you hardcast, and enhancement kites often... because it's very easy to pressure enhance to be defensive and start kiting. Besides this, while in PVE we are infinite mana, in PVP we go OOM too fast : 4 heals and we're oom, and no ability to regane mana if we are forced to kite (since we need to do meele dmg to get mana back). One ideea might be that when you shock (earth/fire/frost) you gain mana like a ret paladin. Thank you, |

I questioned Seasonal Winds on the Shaman forum some times before the patch was applied. At that time everyone thought it was okay, but I already knew it sucked bigtime. And one of the concepts I hate the most is that it's okay for Enhance to "suck" because they supposedly are a utility class. I can say that every other class has at least the same amount of utility, if not more. I think RNG is nice, @ lvl 60 enhance was all about RNG. Allot of ppl loved big 2h WF procs. Enhance mana regen is good, paladins mana is much, much worse, better believe it. |

I totally agree with the OP, both enhancement and elemental are in a terrible state atm.
Enhancement needs more damage, windfury has to either become nature damage or become less RNG'ish or both. Seasonal Winds is the most worthless talent in-game atm. Seering flames and lava lash has to be redesigned, I'm either dead before I can get the full potential out of it, or it gets dispelled/absorbed. Elemental basicly needs everything atm. Damage is mediocre, mobility is the worst second to affli locks (which have other stuff to compensate for it), survivability is meh without astral shifting. Earthbinding totem DR with itself needs to be removed, thunderstorm needs a shorter cooldown. Earthquake needs to be redisgned, it's worthless as well as feedback. Elemental reach should be integrated in our mastery talents and something has to be done about the mana regeneration. This all combined with heroism being not shaman exclusive anymore and removing it from arena gives people no reason to bring an elemental shaman or enhancement shaman to RBG/arenas. I'm sick of being forced to heal to be effective in PvP. |

Searing totem is dumb, though with right placing it is very good. Dispelled? If someone is dispelling that instead of destroying your totem then your lucky to fight him as it is going to be an easy win. If you die fast, youre doing it wrong.
Elemental damage is completely fine, everything else is not.
This explains your whining, you want to be overpowered to play and then you will call yourself "fine." *Enhancement is very fine, its the other classes that are not (Death Knight for example). You dont have to be overpowered to be in a good state, stop being biased. |

Frozenjogurt, your hunting every single topic regarding shamans which ask for buffs to make our class viable in PvP again(ele and enh). NO our class is not fine, if every class is better than us in every aspect but interrupting I think something is SERIOUSLY wrong. It doesn't make sense when you say 'our class is fine, the rest is not', if all the rest is fine except for us because it's simply us who aren't fine! And no, I do not wish to be overpowered at all, but I do want to become viable once more in PvP. I'm not playing specs in which I get owned by backpedalling DKs, warriors, mages, and... everything else.

Just think of it.
Bloodlust / Heroism was given to mages. This was hilarious because they are already very, very strong in arena/pvp. Not even to say, extremely annoying, and I mean extremely. After two expansions of being able to use Hero / BL in arena, they remove it from arena. Logic conclusion, Hero / BL was removed from arena because they gave it to Mages aswell. Mages were fine without it before. And what Shamans got in return??? Resto being strong for half a season??? Elemental being broke for how many months now? Enhancement being nerfed, not scaling, being an "utility class" with less utility than other classes. |

You want to be overpowered, right now enhancement is very fine if you play it right.
Is it now? May I ask about which aspect are we talking about here? Arena? RBG? Duels? Yes, whenever I see some crap about enhancement being weak, I tend to comment on it because thats true. |

Frozenjogurt is suffering from superior player syndrom.
Enhance is at it's best in dungeons and BG's because they don't have to build up their damage so much than most other classes. |
It's nobodies fault you chose to play a crap class, such as Warlock. Besides, Melee is your worst enemy, just as Mage is for melee. l2p and stop whining! |

Enh shamans are very annoying and they just won't die. They don't hurt that much but then they are tough to kill. Rather fight a protection class. |

It's nobodies fault you chose to play a crap class, such as Warlock. right, i never claimed that my class was underpowered or that i have a problem with enhancement shamans. i stated a fact that their damage is fine. you should relax and not accuse someone for doing something they did not. |
