World of Warcraft

For a long time I haven't really enjoyed the game, it's been rather depressing to be honest. I've come to terms with the fact the game isn't going to change back to what it used to be. No one who's been around for some time can deny that this isn't the game we started out in.

There's one thing in particular that always interested me, it's what caught my attention and finally made me conform to WoW in the first place; world PvP, ganking. The world is bigger than ever, yet it is dead, people don't leave their cities much today, places you can go are very limited as well as opportunities.

Even today people who's been on breaks, that notice just now I went over to Alliance, come to rendevouz about old times, tales of epic world PvP, the nostalgia. Only reason I even began to take arena seriously from time to time, was going through whole S1 being flamed for my ratings whenever anyone said anything better about me than being utterly terrible. I really enjoyed the Rated BG idea Blizzard tried to pull this expansion though, it would be great if the system wasn't so flawed and favouring rating exploiting rather than a solid skill based team though, hopefully it will be improved for you next season.

So even if the game is, in my opinion, dreadfully boring right now, it wouldn't be fair to go "FUUU BLIZZ U SUCK BAD GAME I'M LEAVING" etc etc, which a lot of people tend to when they do. There was a time this game was perhaps better than !@@*!@@ (lol they actually censored that word?) to me (yeah I know that probably says more about me than the game:P) for moments, those really epic ones. Anyone from Czech Renegades still around? Giving your whole guild ressurection sickness up on that mountain in Elemental Plateau was my best one by far, only to be helped by Demortor who flew by us by chance when I was about to go down. It probably went a whole week before I stopped patting myself on the shoulder, if anyone really cares. :) There's too many stories, too many people to mention to fit in here really.

I've cancelled my subscription, and even though my gametime won't be running out in a week or two I'm unlikely to come online, so if there's anyone who want to stay in touch I guess you could ask my guildies for my skype information or something. I say this as I was really brief when my decision was final. Speaking of The Love Squad, the guild; if anyone wonders, I've passed over leader to Najiki, who's been there almost since creation, and wide experience as officer, great guy really! capable, to say the very least.

I've never actually openly admitted to having trolled, which I'll say now I have a few times, in and out of the game, I'd like to say I'm sorry for the times I took it too far, I hope there will be no grudges (I think some people/guilds will know when and what I'm talking about).

So I say to you, friends, enemies, and people I don't know, I wish you all well, and I hope that you will enjoy your stay here, even if I couldn't anymore, I will miss you all, the community, Darksorrow, is basically the only thing that has kept me here for a long time, take care of yourselves!

And yes, I'm posting this well aware that hardly anyone reads these forums nowadays, I guess I just had to get it off my chest, perhaps someone wondering where I went will stumble upon it.

As much as you was a royal pain the in a..e, you were a very good PvP player Psykoz, I have to admit, I've had some good battles from time to time with you and Demortor(A name I've not seen for a while) in Nagrand.

Is a shame to see you quit. Maybe one day Blizzard will wake up and realise that, world PvP was/is what World of Warcraft is about and the players also will stop hiding in there safe houses and come out to play.

It's sad to see such a good wow player leave, did know him when he was horde on my priest he taught me well, how to keep my cool in arena and how to play it safe with pillow hugging.

Neither do I honor your guild very much. I have seen people from The Love Squad leeching in BGs, flaming, being just rude towards others. I have seen two of you ninjalooting in 25-man raids.

Unfortunately many PvP guilds are like that, can anyone tell me why? Why don't the PvP guilds have any standards like PvE guilds do, such as ninjalooting means gkick?

If your going to flame some one and there guild, Atleast have some respect and show your main instead of hiding behind a level 2 char.

Your constant whining and trolling everywhere just put me off, and annoyed me.

I'm pretty sure you ganked me a couple of times as a horde aswell, and it did not help that you once was a really immature kid.

However - that's on the personal basis. I guess it's a good thing that some people put a stong impression on others, even if it's good or in your case - bad. At least you will be remembered as that annoying little pvp kid with a vucabulary that does not suit you ;)

I'm even surprised you managed to write a serious post about you leaving.
Nevertheless, I wish you a good future, and I hope your world of warcraft behaviour does not reflect you as a "real" person. I think it is sad to see you go even if it's you - mostly because you're a vanilla player. The old ones have faded away, and it's always heavyhearted to not recognize players that 'always' have been here.

I salute you because you're a veteran, nothing more ;)
