Faction change failers

I've seen a lot of people faction changing to horde.
For one thing, I don't understand the logic... "Population balance means ally sucks so ima faction change". Great so you don't realize that this contributes to the population balance problem? "Horde are awesome, alliance sucks". I've seen a lot of horde players saying that its pretty !#*% on that side because you have to queue to stuff like Tol Barad, theres no challenge because of low alliance population to fight against, etc. Given the horde population here and the amount of guilds, I can understand that faction changing MIGHT be a good idea if you're looking to boost your PvE gear... PvP gear doesn't count because arena and HC queue across the battlegroup. The problem is that by faction changing, you leave all your friends behind. Maybe its just me (and it would explain why my gear isn't as good as it could be considering how long I've been lvl85), but I don't play for progression, I log on so that I can socialize with my friends on the other side of the world. As far as I'm concerned, anybody who faction changes Alliance to Horde on this server is just too pathetic a player to progress in a lower population. I understand that most Alliance pugs don't go well, but by faction changing, not only are you not helping the less experienced players learn (and in so doing, improving the state of pugs), but, in fact, you're also contributing to making them worse in future by ganking lowbies and harassing players who might better spend their time getting better gear or something so that they can survive long enough to see how a boss SHOULD be downed. |

Just for clarification Ortund, I didn't faction change TO horde, I changed BACK to horde. I played horde on this server for 3 years and only spent 6 months on the ally side. I didn't faction change for "progression" either, though unlike you're making out, would be a perfectly valid reason to do so, all my friends play horde.
I also had to faction change as I couldn't stand that apart from those in Homage, 90% of the ally population on spinebreaker are idiots. Also I couldn't wait to gank you in Tol Barad and get a thread dedicated to me. You sound very bitter Ortund, bitter that the good players haven't stuck around to carry you to 12/12. You're whole post is made off of assumptions that you are stating as fact, yet you are calling me pathetic? If you weren't so pathetic you would have stepped up and got in a guild where you wouldnt have to pug. |

In all fairness, people should have a right to faction changing if they want to. It's their money. Plus, less-experienced players can simply look up the tactics, memorize them and just perform them when they actually get there.

Isn't there 1:1 ratio of horde/alliance on TB and leftover at queue? |

alliance win in tol barad almost all the time it seems. But then its only tol barad
i personally like the alliance more because there is actually a higher possibility or community and because there are more 20 twinks around :) after all i have some 20 chars myself |
