If you could save a friend from a gruesome fate, but had to kill him or her to do so, would you do it?

If the friend was needed or more important then myself then yes I would, but I would not have done so if he or she was less important, it would be a less important lose then if I myself should have died.

I strike up a conversation with them, of course. Bees are wonderful conversationalists.

Hmmm... Wólf Runetouch, I believe. Captain of the Guard... It was about how he was going to kill me, and that the only surefire way to kill one of my sort is with decapitation... Even then, you're only killing the body... I could go on all day.

Easily.. a blade though their side, another at their heart, cut off the head, and dig it somewhere randomly... or throw it into lava.. nothing specially, why?

No, if I could help it. While I am not an allmighty savior, there's no point in idling by. I survived when others died. I intend to see that happen in as few cases as possible. I might not have been "saved" for a purpose... But I do not want to let "me being saved" go in vane.

Why anyone would want to hug a rotten corpse which is supposed to be buried is beyond me. I can, however, realize your passing into the next world.

Could you forgive a perpetrator who killed a close ally of yours?

No. I know that the Naaru teach us about forgiveness, but I can't. I couldn't. I tried, but I know I won't.
