Hello, after 4 years on BF i left a while ago to Kor'gall now im on Jaednar.. I used to be ally until the end of wotlk. And now when i just randomly logged on to my 45 mage tonight and i noticed that there was 3 people in IF? I went to Stormwind and there was noone outside dueling i saw maybe 20 players overall in SW.
I knew the population was terrible but wtf this #@*#ed up i had no idea. Anyway to the point im on the edge of playing wow for good, but im willing to give it a last shot so therefor im looking for any old schoolers on the ally side and a old school guild. I'm thinking of moving my paladin in that case. I remember in vanila and TBC when IF was crowded with ppl good and bad, and all the good guilds, Endurance, AOS, DA, WC and whatever they were called i just got very nostalgic and was thinking of returning, but is there any future here? is it worth returning? // Djord old school BF |

I think the only way forward for BF is realm merger. i my guild has lost so many to Rift it killed the guild. first the raid core left, then when we were unable to get a raid group together the rest realm transfered or /gquit.
I logged into BF the other day i swear i saw a tumbleweed in SW. |

I find irony in the fact that you are in a guild named "The Rift". I cant say that my guild has lost a single player to another MMO so far :< There may be some horde side but, perhaps due to under populated alliance you guys are noticing it a lot more. The only things im noticing on Horde is that /2 is a bit dead. |

Ace of spades still alive and kicking. They've cleared all the content of this tier. They're on outland thought.

Moved here during TBC from Kor'gall and the populations been in decline since wotlk
SW's pretty much dead most of the time and... does anyone even go IF anymore? :L |

I miss the old day's server ofline free game time like you say Djord now its all about the monney.
I also gess cata is killing wow slowly ppl like to play with friends and when there guild dont kill nothing they stop playing. A lot on this server reroll horde leaving sw and if emty also seen a lot just stop. Making recruting on this server just inposeble but bliz dont care like they use to. Now its all about monney and not about making all ppl have fun in the game. |

People have been saying the Alliance side is dead since TBC when Endurance left the server it feels also like a self fulling prophecy. It isn't all bad Näkijän taru for example seem to be doing well. It is harder for guilds to start up and the established guilds lack depth and struggle to recruit especially when then are doing heroic content but there are worst realms.

Vanila: Didnt Ally even have more players? At least had better progress (Endurance), There was a lot of good guilds on Ally back then.
TBC: Endurance moved and it got worse, but i still think Ally was decent, pvpguilds we had a few aswell (Pvpnis) And that guild with Dondarion or w/e Wotlk: Zup Faction Change $$$$$$$ Cata: No comment ... |
