Hello, blizzard, fellow gamers
3 days ago orso. the account of my friend was hacked " http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/ravencrest/Sakyro/advanced " Well this user and i have been friends for allong time . On steam he won a prize by playing tf2 (clan server) This Prize containted . A wow account. the "vanila" version and a 1 Year subscription . The "Brunging crusade", "Wrath of the lich king" And "Cataclysim " where bought by an other friend of his . So that he could play. with us. Unfortnually he got hacked. And he had allot of trouble trying getting his account back. because he had no idea what people filled in with his account . It was a prize he had no idea.. what i could have been. and what the code was . now he is constatlly talking to me and QQ about his account so i kinda , was getting sick of it and, i just want to kill deathwing with him (in 4.3). and i want this to end . i know blizzard can be very serius about this. But cant you guys see that on one day. Suddenly the e-mail,password changed and gold.mats. perhaps gear. are trown away. and suddenly his subsribtion ended . Kinda strange eh ? And with all this "Steam" situation it's not a big suprise . He's a good and kind guy .he is one of those annoying rule guys.And violating the Terms of service is totally not him if you want his real info, you can e-mail me . Look i was hacked too. so i know how **** it is . And just want to play the game again . With him Look me him. and some other guy. we are big wow fans of wow. TCG,minis. the game it self. The blues can't and won't handle these things over the forums because of obvious security and privacy issues. He'll have to contacting Account and Billing for this. That's the only way to go.

While I can obviously understand your sympathy and concern for your in-game friend, I’m afraid Gliondir is correct in stating that we’re regrettably unable to discuss matters of this kind over a public forum, especially not with the account holder of the account in question. I should perhaps warn you that if your friend isn’t the person whose name is registered on the account he’s trying to retrieve, it may indeed not be possible for us to return control to him, but it sounds from your description as though he’s already in contact with our support team about the situation. If this is the case then he’s already doing the right thing, and I’m afraid I can only recommend he continue with his appeal and provide us with as much of the requested information as possible. Best of luck to him either way. :) |

well, atleast i gave it a shot. Then ill guess i have to play another game then .
Would be alttile lame-ish if i still continued playing this game. and he will not so. Anyways thanks for the help, and time . Cya around |

Thank you... The small problem. I registered the original e mail adress. and new account this recovery. The (old account) is lost. This i have the original box, cd and key on Battleshests and lich king. Or cataclism 30 day. Please help me. i am afraid and cry:(

Your friend has to contact Account & Billing, either by phone or webform. The blues won't handle this over the forums because of obvious privacy and security issues.
By the way, if I understand you correctly in your 2nd post, you are trying to create a new account? That's not needed. Just let your friend contact Account & Billing and they will try to recover his current account. Dear Blizzard Costumer Support.
Today, without any warning my World of Warcraft account has been closed do to "Policy Violation - Advertisement and Spamming". I just bought the game some days ago to try it out, and i can only think of 2 cases that might cose the problem. The first that i might got hacked and someone else spammad in my name, the other is that i'm triing out various "addons" so it might probably be an addon virus. I'm going to change my password and delete my addons so i'd like to have some help with this problem. Hi
I would like to know about Blizzard's policy towards hackers activating someones account after hacking it. Cause i've heard many cases when Blizzard has removed the game time from stolen accounts. Isn't that game time still legally bought and should not been taken away that lightly? |

Hi Most of the time the game time is bought with fraudulent credit card information, which results in a charge back. So no, it isn't legally bought. |
